No problem, hope it helped.
In this case its not plinking. The timing for plinking is faster.
p-linking (from what I understand) is a street fighter mechanic where the game gives you an extra frame, where you fool the engine that you accidentally inputted 2 inputs in succession; but the game makes the decision to give you a the 1st input you entered.
If you hit / drum / piano lk, lp fast you should get:
1st frame: lk
2nd frame: lk+lp
Your SF training-mode input should look like this:
:lk: :lp:
:lk:
(no counter hit) c.lk > st.hp > rekka
combo at at 1:35 http://www.youtube.com/user/BionicBuz
quality of the video is not great you wont be able to see it clearly but it says 5 hit combo
its a setup for a perfect meaty crlk>hp combo, you get an untechable kd, do 1 mp rekka, then immediatly hit crlk… kind of like a safejump setup only its for a meaty crlk
Yea, perhaps I could’ve worded it better, j_case got it though.
cr.hk for the untechable, whiff mp rekka to close distance, you’ll recover before they wakeup. As soon as you recover they’re waking up into cr.lk xx cl.hp
Yes that still combos on juri with the patch.
They didn’t change hk cw back to the way it was in vanilla with the huge pause at the start of the move.
Someone with better knowledge would have to check for minor changes but to me it feels pretty much the same.
They shortened the hitstun on Fei’s cl.HP. It’s very short now. Also, I didn’t check to see if MP > HK CW still worked so it’s cool that it does. I tried to see if a different infinite could be done (MP > HK CW > LP > MP > HK CW) and the LP pushes you just too far away to get the cl.MP. That would have been a very tight series of links, but it would’ve been interesting.
