10.1k BP. Used to have 3k PP but since playing as Dudley, Ibuki and Cody, too, it went down to sometimes 1k. Currently 2.2k PP.
But level of play in Germany and UK is lower than in USA and France (and I mostly play against opponents with German or British flag…) so it’s easier to “collect BP” here.
Still getting 1 or 7 BP for most wins and losing 40 for a loss is frustrating.
Anyone playing X-box in Australia? I find it quite challenging. I can sometimes kill 500 points in a sitting and then lose 3 - 4 hundred in a bad swing.
I understand some of the comments about endless vs ranked, but the way I deal with it is to think to myself “not a person in the world probably cares about my points, just their own”
I find it makes me play a little looser in ranked, everyone is just out for themselves. Although you will occasionally meet someone very good who will replay you multiple times and then give compliments. It makes a change from someone kicking you off endless because you beat them or the hilarious “recorded message” (yes i’ve had one, he said that I though kung fu was real…)
A friend of mine has over 15k bp and about 5k pp.His name is JonJon210 and he has an amazing Fei Long.
I can’t do fight request. I live in Canada. Most players set their fight request to region which really sucks because I can easily get less lag fighting with people in New York than I could in Alberta or Vancouver. I can clear the game on hardest doing best of 7 matches without a single successful fight request (a lot of kicks after they come into the room).
My other problem with rank is the huge amount of Shotos. In SSF4 other than Sagat still, Shotos are beatable. It’s all the other characters i need to practice against which is why I like endless better. I don’t want to fight 20 Akumas and Ryus before i fight a single Ibuki. I’d rather a go to endless where I can preview matches and see if there is a dominant player of less used characters before fighting. If not, I can jump into another room quickly and hop from room to room before I find one.
Ah well that makes sense. It seems like a totally different scene up there based on what you’re experiencing. I would suggest you change your Xbox settings to say that your region is US or even Japan if you can get better connection/better ranked experience from that. A lot of people do that just to face Japanese players online :razz: Seriously though, it works.
I wouldn’t say it’s a different scene, just sparse. I play on PS3 though and buy DLC all the time and the card needs to match the region. As for defensive players, as long as it isn’t boxer, I’m game for that (still have huge problems with boxer, I sear no other character do i have more knowledge against than boxer and still get consistently beat down regularly, he’s harder to deal with than Sagat with Fei IMO).
so i checked on the PSN board, looks like brucelee-kid is the best Fei on the board of the entire world… i know he posts here, i remember seeing his name, congrats.

Does He play anymore? He’s had the same BP for a while, while My Pal Bruce Lee kid surpassed him last week.
My Battle points with Fei Long are in the early 3000’s and my player points are like a seesaw, the highest I have ever been is in the 2800’s

u played ibuki, right? ibuki has ridulous safe combo moves, and many ways to counter her mistakes, which i believe are stupid; when u make a mistake, u should be punished by ur opponent. also, ibuki’s safe jump in projectile is ridiculous too, with so many ways to punish ur block opponent, which is the only way he/she can do. btw, y is every move of her is so safe?
and was that weird? by telling the truth about ibuki’s moves?
i wouldnt say that. that slide of hers is definitely big time punishable. like every character, it all depends on the player. i think Ibuki is very predictable if downloaded.
After really dedicating myself to playing the game more than learning the theory and watching videos of Fei, I’ve gone from around 1,000 PP and 4,000 BP > 2,000 PP and 5,000 BP with a 17 win streak.
lol when I got there, I beat one guy pretty well and then found that I’d gained that infamous 1BP after the fight because he had 1,500 PP and 3,500 BP. I figured it was fine because he was in C and now my new rank means I need to play higher ranks to rank up. So I set it to higher skilled and ended up against “EMPER0R C0W”, the 4th ranked Dhalsim in the world on the leaderboards (3,400 PP and 18,000 BP)… Didn’t go too well, but I expected as much. From this though, it still took 25 PP and 75 BP, which made me ‘WTF?’ seeing as he has almost 4 times my points and has played 5 times the amount of matches as me, yet he still sent me back to below the B margin 
Up close. Yes its all safe except for her launcher TC which people generally just SJC from anyways. The safe jump projectile as you say only works when your knockdown. Its her vortex like akumas, el fuertes, She has horrible footsies so getting the knockdown is the hard part. Also her crouching roundhouse is -9 on block

when i said that, i was referring to ibuki vs fei, not ibuki vs akuma or others. i know what i was talking about, and i know the matchup for fei vs any1 very well.
if that couldn’t get punished, then all of her moves would be safe. lol
if fei were a beast, then u should play him more than ibuki. oh, i forgot that he’s not ur type. the funny thing about people is that they always say fei is a beast, but how many can play fei like a beast comparing to easy ryu? thus, they prefer to play other easier characters. lol basically, fei requires more skills to play than other easy and advantageous characters, which makes him a harder character to win if u r not really good with him.
you guys ever just have those days where ur timing seems a little off? lost like 5 games in a row last night and had to put the game down out of frustration…
brucelee-kid u need to stop being so salty about how much “tougher” fei is to play than some other characters. every post i see from you, all you talk about is how easy every other character is to play, it seems like you dont respect any other player unless they use wat you think is a lower tier character. how bout pointing out the “advantageous” things that fei has rather than other characters that you just assume things about.
when you main fei, you already know what your up against… so dun bich about it… as for ibuki vs fei… you have to download the players style down… ibuki does have safe moves… but im pretty sure besides the half circle back mk is the only thing she got… the ex dp to kunai can be punsihed when you go underneath wit rekka…
