I would say Ibuki/Viper/Gen are alot harder to play then Fei Long with less reward. Why don’t I use Fei Long? Because I don’t have time for it. I have like 5 other games I need to get to and once my Ibuki is at A Rank I’m going to put the game down anyways. Theres no competition here anyways. When did I say he’s not my type? He’s freaking bruce lee reincarnated.
hey you guys, dont feed it.
pro tip-anybody who tripple posts on a consistant basis goes on your ignore list
fei’s advantages: hard combo links (yes, i need to practice more but others don’t have to practice that much), shitty ultra that never got fixed for so long, chicken wing and rekka can be punished most of the time (unlike adon’s back kick), slow recovery, forward mk can be overcomed by opponent’s focus, focus is slow like hell besides having farther range than others’, his others punch and kick buttons are useless besides crouch medium punch and hard punch. speed? cammy can move faster than him. bison can kick faster than him, balrog can jab faster than him and has a farther range, ibuki’s focus is faster than him, etc. basically, he is more difficult to play than others, so only skillful fei can beat most fighters. dont believe me? look at the number of people who play fei online and see their pts? if u c less people, it means he is harder to win. i know what i am talking about. and u?
i never assumed anything about anyone. i stated facts about those characters. give me a fact about a char that i stated that was incorrect, ok?
fei is only good when he fights adon, hakan, honda, cody, guy, makato, gen (not in vanilla), and others i forgot, but i can tell that ibuki has better tools than fei.
i only agreed with gen. viper and ibuki are way better than fei. when u play fei alot, u will know. if u dont, then u’ll not know. look at the number of people who play fei vs ibuki vs viper. who has more pts? more pts mean people win more with that char? last time i checked, ibuki had more pts than most feis.
yes, no one has time for fei cuz fei requires too many things to win than others. and that is the number 1 excuse i hear.

Please spell Hadouken with an “H” and an “O” the way it’s been for about 21 years.
-
Stop using the terms “advantageous,” “advantage,” and other variants.
Now that it’s off my chest… Maybe you should turn off the computer and pick up a controller instead. Learn the weaknesses of other characters and fit Fei into that puzzle instead of trying to find where he’s weak. That just makes you look like a trolling dick.
i think more people do play ibuki/viper than fei long as they have more tools at their disposal , i mean if u watch streams and stuff often u can tell that fei long is not a very popular character compared to ibuki/viper
but brucelee kid i don’t understand why you are complaining about fei longs focus attack , i though it was the best in the game
and plus if u pick a character shouldnt you complain 2 much about him because you cant really do much about it .
as soon as i saw he wrote feis focus is super slow i stopped reading…
Man, I seem to be unable to surpass 8200bp. I usually go up to 8200, then drop down to 8000, then back up, and so forth. It’s frustrating.
@ j_case
i know right… this kid is retarded if he says its slow … btw cr. mk is really good for stuffing allot of footsies…and you can hit confirm into super as well…
I have just over 2000 pp / 2000 bp at the moment and climbing consistently. I think my level is 2500ish or something, I often beat people who have 3000 pp but then lose to beginners etc.
I don’t think I’ve ever beaten a Blanka player in ranked matches, kryptonite.
Puled an all nighter and reached 10000BP! Sleepy Time.
fallen from 3678 to 3364… and most of which was not player error, trying to anti-air in lag, and droping combos because of input drops was my downfall. it sux that I know that I can beat the people I lose to, and the WORSE part is playing people off line is totally differnt then online… the difference is truley night and day
I dont play ranked
Man I got my ass whupped a few days ago. Hadn’t put in the game in ages (for the past month been too busy studying, living, skydiving). Found my instincts were more than a bit off (a little slow, losing against guys I would have whupped before, inputs were horrid, I mean I even felt my thumbs slip onto the wrong buttons). I played like a total newb…
you should read what brucelee kid has written in the Ryu forum it’s hilarious. This guy clearly has no clue about anything. He’s whining about feis normals yet he has some of the best in the entire game including THE BEST focus attack. It’s also even more pathetic the way hes whining about a crappy ultra. This is one of the reasons Fei is awesome. One of the few chars that rarely uses an ultra to win. Anyone know how good this supposed fei long player is? lol
i know what you mean higgins, i find it impossible to play ssf4 online if any1 else in the house is useing the internet at all, im talkign even surfing the web or checking email.
Online flubs like that are pretty common, especially if you just really want to get a good game in and forget to check the opponent’s connection before starting… That’s happened to me a lot, especially when people come back for rematches to grind points after winning thanks to lag. Really annoying stuff.
On another note, I’ve been moving up steadily in PP up to 3889, but the competition seems pretty fierce for people at that point range and above… It’s been tough to keep a hold of my points for very long; it’s usually 1 step forward, 2 steps back, and then 2 steps forward again. So slow
^^so true. got up to 3600 at one point yesterday, fell back to 3000 before i quit for the night. theres a suprising amount of pretty good players at above 3500. it almost catches you off gaurd when your opponents stop doing stupid shit
4070PP! Took way too long to get it, but I really do feel as if I’ve improved my game during my quest. Time for an endless battle break
If I ever reach 4000, I’ll be more satisfied than a vegan breaking the rules.
