Yeah, looks like we might be better off dumping EX rekka and FADC for the big damage Super.

I’m thinking that the fwd-hk xx Super is going to be a really big help in the Zangief/T-Hawk matches. I already save for super in the Gief match to stop him spamming lariat.

I like how you fei long scrubs act like hes been nerfed badly hes been barely touched.

Edit: I forgot to mention Fei can combo into his ultra from st mp counter hit which is dumb as hell capcom need to nerf the frame advantage of st mp its ridiculous.

As soon as Gief does Lariat you can do a HK CW. Beats it clean most of the time (sometimes trades). If he did the KKK one he gets chipped and you can backdash to safety (or can he green hand then?).
Of course nj.HK and fj.HK (press HK a bit early) beats Lariat, too.

Yeah they just didn’t do anything to the other CWs. I wish LK CW was -2 on block.

Yeah I’m not a fan of CW in the Gief match, I don’t want to put myself near whilst not under control of the character, unless I really have to.

Only tangentally relavent to the discussion, but I’ll point it out anyway, Chun isn’t getting a buff on her fireball, she’s getting a mostly irrelevent buff to her fireball Ultra. It’s a mistranslation, you can tell because it says U.C.|Kikoken.

Ahh that’s some good news. Well then it doesn’t seem like much is changing in that fight aside from not being able to finish her off in one combo if she messes up. Getting her into the corner will still be the key to winning, and keeping her there isn’t particularly hard for Fei if he can guess when she’ll do EX SBK or Hazanshu.

Highland–Give it a try. It does work with the right timing (a couple of spins into the long lariat). Probably easier to do than timing HP Rekkas at the 3rd Lariat. I do see the Gief fight becoming more annoying and random with Gief’s buffs to stun though. You’ll be panicking after 2-3 hits/mix-ups just to not get jabbed into stun.

So on eventhubs today they posted a video of Daigo playing cammy… and look what’s back, TK CS.That coupled with Kim1234’s comment saying not all changes were listed has me wishing and hoping for something, anything! I will say that even if he gets nothing than what has been listed it won’t be to bad.

But still maybe… MAYBE there is something that wasn’t put into the change list fingers crossed

With hidden changes confirmed i could definatly see capcom messing around with fei’s normak rekka or ex hitboxes.

I hope Capcom fixies his tenshin, for example on some characters if you try to do cl st hp, far st hp will come out which does not combo after tenshin or can special cancel this happens on Rufus for example and another fix is his hk flamekick hitbox some characters like Viper for instance you do st hp hk flame kick then 2nd kick of his flame kick whiffs :/, i know Capcom for sure not going to address these issues but oh well.

rufus, chun, rose have had that problem since vanilla. it really sucks when you start that far fierce, and they get a reversal ultra.

theres also the forward throw out of the corner that makes the opponent go a further distance

I think Dee Jay has it aswell, I’m sure it sometimes even happens from a focus crumple. The flame kick whiffs on Vega also after a tenshin (this match already giving me nightmares). Good thing about Rufus is the straight CW after crumple, I really hope that’s not been changed, I hate the fat bastard.

I’ll take Fei the way he is, if I find a few stealth nerfs (the worst kind), I’ll be pretty salty, I think he’s fine now.

Another thing that really annoys me is the fact that if you flame kick fadc and ultra too early, none of the punches hit, and you get punished.

I want that too, had to satisfy with cr.lk, cl.lk, cr.lp xx rekka instead when fighting the shorties. Think it does 161 damage or something.

Hope a hidden buff to Fei is that they change the damage distribution of non animation ultra 1 where the first and third hit does more damage, at least so that it can compensate the damage loss from fadc flame kick and chickenwing.
