Wow that is some cool tech. Canceling the hyper off of cent m seems like it could lead to some crazy mixups especially if your opponent has never seen it before.
Something like cent m > nova force cancel > ground grab/overhead/low
Honestly itās kind of disorienting the first time you see it because the screen flashes and hyper sound goes off. You can really catch someone off guard with this. Sure itās a lot of meter to burn but itās something you can keep in your back pocket and use every once in a while.

Nice! Though Iām curious, what if they donāt pushblock? Is it anywhere near safe? Im at work so dont have my Bible on me, but many of my opponents arent the āpushblock as soon as touchedā types lol

Figured as much. So this tactic then, I assume, is one where you really have to be in tune with the opponentās tendencies to utilize? Im sure most guys Infrit fights know to pushblock stuff. But like in poker, sometimes the fancy stuff doesnt work against the guppies.

thats where using a lockdown assist comes in handyā¦ makes u safe plus allows for more mixups, especially if they chose NOT to pushblock
Right, I need to get used to getting in assistless so I have assist ready to go as Iām attacking, as opposed to using assist to get in, then not having one available during the attack.

I think it depends on your style/team composition really. Nova has some nice mixups and tri jumping L can be downright dirty, but itās not all heās got. I honestly find myself playing more footsies via controlling space with H pulse and looking for hi/lows covered by assists or cross unders via rocket punch. Perks of having tools I guess.

Centurion Rush into Super Nova really close to the ground it acts pretty much like a Roman Cancel. INFRIT mentions it in his post (and informative video) here:
