You don’t even need to mash on s.L for lightning buster lightning; slide works every time, makes the hit confirm more reliable and scales better.
cr.B right? Or Cent L?
cr.B. The only issue with cr.B is sometimes I react too slow and I get hit out of the startup. It is reliable and better though. Just make sure you punish it, and you’re gold.

Pretty sure no one can block this consistently if done right. Can be done on incoming too but it can be escaped.
what if they push block the cr.M? Does Cent Rush still hit?
Still hits, just doesn’t cross up, but you can still go for another high/low mixup or instant air crossup.
Marvel set with some friends yesterday. Somethings to let you all know ahead of time, 1. We all just play for fun so most of the time it was us sitting in a room joking and talking about all kinds of irrelevant shit which is the reason for a series of poor decisions lol. 2. Any time you see Nova Task Spencer, that’s me…I’m a 360 player but my friend owns a PS3 so I play on a PDP afterglow pad for the PS3…incase anyone doesnt know, the controller is not that great lmao…the dead zones on the analog are pretty brolic and the buttons are small so those cause all kinds of mess ups…regardless, just check out the videos if you feel like burning some time.
EDIT: Ok scrap that…just watch this part…it’s the only part really worth watching…

Fucking Wolverine pisses me off SOOOOO MUCH…and joking around while playing wasnt helping but as soon as I started getting salty, went to character select, and put my music in, it started getting real.
And you my friend have shown an example of what I’ve been saying for months. Cent Rushes are the key to opening up your opponent and getting them to block. Doesn’t matter if they push block. Proper Cent Rushing makes it VERY difficult to get you off of your opponent. It’s essentially how you use Vajra with Nova.

Cent Rushing with an assist at the start of the round is also amazing if you’re outside of their range to punish you on startup. You’ll be instantly in their face, you’ll happy birthday them if they called an assist, and if they’re blocking you get free mixups. Just don’t get too obvious with it or they’ll anticipate and happy birthday you instead.

I feel like calling Drones and doing Cent Rush H at the beginning of the round is the ultimate online opening gambit against everyone but MODOK.
Plenty of teams/characters could blow that up. Several of them would happy birthday you in the process.
Key word was online… It’s a pretty terrible setup.
Anyway, just checked though and I’m glad to see you can do the Cent Rush M setup I posted above with Drones.
How did you link the two supers with Grav Pulse H?
I’ve tried but my opponent flips out once they touched the shield
You need lvl 2 shield. It’s very strict timing.

I’ fairly certain that after the Nova Slam (forward H) hits, you could call Doom, let plasma beam, follow up with medium cent rush and then end it with cent rush L into whichever hyper you prefer. Am I wrong?
Believe me, I tried…na…Doom comes out too slow and the timing to call an assist is really tight since Strider JUST leaves when I do Nova slam…that and I’m pretty sure at the end of that, HSD will make them pop out
Yeah you need to call Beam about halfway through Nova’s swing on the slam, he’s almost certainly still in assist cooldown at that point.

The set starting at 2:34:10
Anyone have any feedback other than “stop dropping combos”? The stuff I noticed:
- Human Rocket goes through shockwave STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID
- I know I could’ve gotten stray j.C -> Super -> Xfactor combo; I didn’t react fast enough
