Oh thats awesome. First public showing or have you done it before?
We had one chance to do something like this and its fucking awesome to see people play the game all day long, very different type of feedback than having a few set testers but really useful.
I wish I could say yes! I have several designs waiting for our artists to get around to it. We’re going to finish up the characters we have first, but maybe we’ll through in a character or 2 to test gameplay like we’re doing with the Hell Princess.
One artist and I work on this project. That’s it. I also should include several amazing testers that will go into the special thanks for sure if we ever release this game!
It’s been months since I lasted posted, but just wanted to let people know we created a steam Greenlight page for Fearless Night.
Being on Steam will help a lot with getting the game out to people early for alpha testing, if we make it through.
I’ll give it a chance because I think more fighting games on Steam is only a good thing (especially with good netcode) but please don’t make it like SG with 50 hit combos and endless opportunities for resets. And please don’t load it up with Loli and animu characters. I think the Zone-tan-like character with the scythe is fine though.
Combo wise, usually you can’t practically get many things beyond 20 hits right now, and that’s with multi hit moves even. Scaling is pretty strong. Reset wise, it’ll be similar to GG; You try to grab their techs, or make them recover in the air and hit them with an air unblockable move, which works depending on the tech.
Not to self promote, but even something like this is technically TAS, using in game functions.
So is GG, but there’s just one little girl to be found there. I’m not sure what classifies an “animu” character, though, but I’m pretty sure every anime game has to have a few of those lmao
