I don’t care about whether rigging brackets is a problem or Chris G’s antics. I only care about the lack of consistency of applying Evo rules. Evo set a precedent, so the organizers should apply their own rules or change them.
Personally I think a player should be able to forfeit a match if he wants. If he wants to lose he’s gonna lose. The only thing worse than a player intentionally throwing a match is a player intentionally throwing a match while trying to make it look like he’s not.
I follow MK and the Sektor blow up is over people saying Sektor isn’t viable not that he’s one of the best.

EDIT: Chris G is lame for trying to play off an “obvious” conclusion to their GF match by picking characters he doesn’t play. I don’t know shit about the EVO ruling with Justin well enough to say whether or not Chris deserves any punishment. But it’s obvious he didn’t collude with BALA to share the pot or anything like that.
I know what you are saying, and I may be alone in thinking this, but I think that any character that really negates footsies (Viper, Sektor, etc.) needs to be reworked in some way. Maybe I should have been a little bit more clear about that.
We will definately take a look at what happened tomorrow, when everyone is back in the office, and decide if we need to take action or not.

The biggest reason that I am angry about this is that Grand Finals are supposed to be hype. It doesn’t matter if you know that one person is better than the other. It’s the “never give up” mentality that promotes the underdogs in those situations. I mean, that’s what the FGC is about. It doesn’t matter if you lose. It matters that you played your heart out.
