but then again I’ve been on ggpo too much lately. RV isn’t really winning anymore, you can do some of the same shit (minus the two button inf) with reg venom and not worrying about dying in 1 and a half combos

I like 3s Chun because playing footsies when you have the best buttons is pretty sweet. I also really appreciate how short she is. a lot of high moves whiff over her head! so she doesn’t have to care about certain options from several strong characters. watching Ken’s stand strong whiff over your head is neato.
3s Ken’s corner game is awesome. You can make the other guy feel so dumb. He whiffs a throw? low forward shoryu shoryu. he wakeup crouch techs? low parry, shoryu shoryu. he guesses parry high or low or just holds up? you’ve got an array of confirmable moves into SA3. he decides to just block because he’s afraid of your punishes? throw him five times. your opponent feels every mistake he makes because those shoryus start hurting pretty quick. you can win the round off getting them in the corner once. that’s pretty sick.
3s Twelve is fucking stupid. he sucks and he’s in the wrong game. he manages to transform the game into something it usually isn’t without actually being a viable character. on the bright side for the Twelve player I guess it takes your opponent out of their comfort zone. on the negative side for everyone else who plays the game, Twelve has nothing to do with what makes 3s fun and I’ll wager that anyone who enjoys 3s doesn’t enjoy playing against Twelve.
because most Twelve players outside of Japan are pretty bad, it doesn’t take much matchup knowledge to beat them. but you’ll be miserable during the whole experience.
also I swear to god he has a faster throw than everyone else. you can’t convince me otherwise.
Missed the point homie, he’s a low-life character that either gets a TOD or gets TOD’d, just like DPhoenix.
Also, DP requires more effort to get her in, since you start the match with Red Venom and not with DP - which if you look at it from THAT perspective, he’s even more derpy.
Not to mention, DP in UMC3 isn’t nearly as stupid MASH THE FUCK OUT OF L like she is in Vanilla. It’s not what their combos are like, as the games are different systems. It’s like saying a shoto is a shoto… Well, a TOD or be TOD’d character is a TOD or be TOD’d character.
Fuck it though… I hate all 3 of the games. MvC2 is the only legit Marvel.
GGPO mvc1 players suck they use the wrong turbo speed, They have no sense how to play any fighting game other than rush down and mash colossus or psylocke assist, Hell, when the game MvC:O first dropped Arturo was beating them easily with Red Venom.
I’m going to also say I hate crossdresser/trap characters, I think sometimes they are put in as some strange sort of fan service. Question is…for whom?
