Father shoots intruder hiding under daughters bed

You do realize the dad called 911 and only shot because Johran made a movement that the dad construed as threatening, right? Or did you not read the actual article?

If the dad had a dark, bloody fantasy, he would have shot first and asked questions later. Seemed to me he not only asked question (asked his own daughter who the teen is), but he also called 911 to get the actual authorities to deal with the situation.

Oh wait, no. Calling the cops was actually a ploy so he can shoot and maintain his innocence. He actually unlocked the door so Johran can sneak to his own daughter’s room in the first place. Damn, he’s smart.

This sounds like a cover up to me…Im pretty sure the father killed the black kid finding out he was boning his daughter. Went to get his gun & but the kid decide to stick around. He probably said something no father should ever hear about his daughter & got blasted for it…

I have a problem with this part of the story…
"Her younger brother went to say good night and saw two feet sticking out under the bed, detectives said. He then went to get his father." How fucking tall was this kid? He would have been at least 6’3 for his leg to be sticking out like that. Also its 2:30am in the morning, why would a young kid be up so late & then goes to to say goodnight to their sibling…This sounds made up to me. If they lied about this, then there is a good chance they lied about what happened.

A question is a fucking question, so how is that a baseless assumption, when there was no assumptions. Maybe you should learn how to read.

Secondly, you go to the range, congrats, most individuals do not go to the range with their toys. You are assuming that this man actually uses his piece. You are the one making baseless assumptions, assuming anybody can do it. Anybody can own a firearm, not everybody can actually use it in situations like htis, which is why police and military tactics are preferred. If this is how the US military trains it’s soldiers, you bet this is how I going to use a firearm in such a situation.

lastly, whether it’s hard or not, if this nigga bolts at you at that distance, you probablity of hitting a moving target that small diminishes. it’s one thing to hit a still target, hitting a moving target is harder, even for somebody that trians. so why would you even point down at a leg. It’s uch more psychologicaly impactful when the barrel is pointed at your center of mass.

There’s a reason, why this is the standard, and why a serious owner would question your John Woo bullshit.

@pedoviejo‌ tryhard confirmed.

lol Epi thinks he’s Detective Roger “I shoot him in the leg” Murtaugh over here.

using logic is being a try hsrd??

lol

I wouldnt shoot someone who is unarmed and not threatening me or my families life in general.

Epidemic Fronting like he is a trick shot sharpshooter

Gtfo with that bs you are spewing.

Shoot at the biggest target. Not smallest.

more importantly is there pics of the daughter yet? I wanna see what kind of tang is worth gettin blasted over

I’m curious what the law says about this. I would assume that the father is liable.

(^ It’s Texas, so…no. He won’t be legally liable for anything, especially since the kid was technically trespassing. Maybe he’d be liable if the guy was running away, clearly unarmed, and he’d shot him in the back, but even then…it’s Texas.)

Hunh. This was…unnecessary.

That said, even as someone who dislikes guns and hates kids/people, I can’t blame the father for acting how he did with the information we’re told he was given. Not his fault his daughter decided to lie her ass off for fear of looking like a “slut”, which is apparently more pressing than potentially the fear of getting someone else killed since I’m pretty sure she knew her father had a gun. Then again, people, especially teens, tend to think they’re all invincible and people, especially teens, do stupidly reckless shit all the time, so this isn’t surprising, especially in a gun state like Texas.

Only “surprising” thing is that this wasn’t in Florida, really.

It’s rare that I agree with thurst about anything, but pretty much this.

The only thing I’d change is “special kind of asshole” into “typical asshole” since women lie about this type of shit all the time, for reasons–some of them legitimately absurd double standards–that I mostly understand but that I’m also sure fem!Voldemort would (attempt to) explain to all of us even if I didn’t.

Why would you bone a girl at her house

With her dad home

Without the dad knowing you are there?

Fuck that shit. Backseats or your own house. Never hers

He is trepassing by Texas law even though the girl let him into the house? Was it because she was a minor?

Sounds like people could take advantage of Texas law and legally murder people by having their teenage daughter let them in the house.

NO, Texas law is lax, but it isn’t neccesarly stupid. It’s only seems stupid because there’s a large growing anti-gun philosophy taking root in the nation.

there was a firefighter that shot and killed a teacher who charged him, while being drunk, when the fireman went to tell the party folk to shut it off. He was charged with murder. Florida is the state with weird interpertation of laws. AS long as your white in florida, you can get away with a lot of shit.

Yeah, that’s definitely not “proper” in civilized society. How could the two of them think that’s a good idea? The girl is definitely to blame too but the guy was pretty stupid himself, and more than likely he suggested it. Geez, just wait another year and he’d be in college, where a girl’s roommate will make excuses and then clear out.

can’t tell if you’re trolling because you previously made a thread about having a small penis and you have a picture of a juggalo as your avatar picture

but even ICP would shoot somebody that invaded their home in the middle of the night. maybe someday when you have your own home and loved ones you care about you’ll understand. his daughter lied, so based on the information he had available, he acted correctly. There was an aggressive stranger in his home who was being argumentative and who then made a sudden movement. For all he knows the kid could have been a criminal who was about to murder, rob, and rape the family. I don’t fault the dad at all for doing his job as a man and protecting his house hold.

your response reminds me of this news article I read of this attacker who broke and entered a house twice. The first time he beat up the woman living there and took some stuff. He broke in again at night. This time the husband was there and there was a struggle. During this time the woman stabbed the intruder to death. Some liberal made a comment, “WHY COULDNT SHE HAVE JUST STABBED HIM IN THE LEG INSTEAD OF MURDERING HIM”. luckily, everyone mocked and ridiculed this loser, which shows that there is still some sense left in this world.

(Haha. “Proper”. Can’t tell if that’s actual sarcasm.)

Regardless, it’s not like people tend to want wait for anything, especially in our world of increasingly instant gratification. So “just” waiting another year until the arbitrariness of (Texas’s) “legal” age (for heterosexual sex) being too long for overly hormonal teenagers also isn’t surprising.

I think he’d be trespassing by general laws since she’s not the owner of house, even if she invited him (and then lied about it). I’m not going to pretend that I’ve looked up trespassing law, but I can’t imagine it being any more definite in Texas than any other state for the most part.

The “Texas law” part of this comes in play with how you’re allowed to respond to people trespassing in your house and on your property, namely by being able to kill their ass. A lot of southern states are rather lenient about home self-defense whereas places like California, where I live, are a lot more stringent in most instances.

(To answer your actual first question, though, the father would technically be liable if, as someone suggested on the first page, the victim’s family sued the shooter’s daughter since the father would be the one paying up. Otherwise, though…)

That sounds a) dumb, b) overly convoluted and c) impossible since conspiracy to commit murder would negate any trespassing crime if the home owner had therefore given the go-ahead to allow the victim into the home. So…yeah. I’m not sure what you’re getting at here unless you’re implying that father was “in on it” and “my daughter lied” was just some weird excuse conspiracy which isn’t…impossible, but is so implausible as to be really out there.

More importantly though, why the fuck are you double posting?

I boned a girl and her dad came home

Needless to say i hid in her room. And just waited for him to go back to work.

Then i ran home

She came over and we boned

She tried to get me to come over

Never again

Oh to be 15 and horny

Legal murder is an oxymoron.
