im all for people having arms for recreation, and especially to protect their houses, i get it, but this case shows one of the problems with lax gun regulation, in that people are given the right to pull out a gun on someone and protect their home, but they dont have to take any classes or anything to ensure they properly handle these situations, as to avoid unnecessary killings. im sure if this man, like millions of americans, were obligated to just take one class on how to question and or handle possible intruders into their home, this whole situation could have been avoided. instead, the stupidity of america shines, and people are all like, “im not paying for classes, this is against the constitution. i dont need to know how to handle shit. if youre in my home and i didnt invite you in (or sneaking in because you lost your keys) then imma shoot your ass”. its such an asinine way of thinking.

After the boy sees the feet (probably runs screaming for his dad), he could have tried to get dressed if he wasn’t already and tried to leave.
