Fate/Unlimited Codes aka?

Keiri is fun as shit to play. I don’t know how he’s supposed to be played since I havent watched any vids yet. But I made a few srtong ass combos wit him that can be done with only 1 meter so I’m sld.:tup:

I’ve had this happen to me. I threw Gil then IMMEDIATELY after the throw animation finished, chains came out, causing me to die.

I kinda let that go right BEFORE the camara angle changes, but instead of the chains coming out during the throw animation, the chains hit for the KO after the animation.

Yeah, I believe all throws work like this. When I play Rider against my roommate’s Rin. He throws out a gem and I chain grab throw him, I have to block after the throw animation finishes or the gem will hit me.

Apparently with moves like that, the projectiles completely freeze wherever they were if someone gets thrown and they continue their trajectory only after the character’s throw animation finishes. :expressionless:

nice little trick for those of you who struggle with JCC stance cancel with archer:

try doing 22C8 instead of 228C. yes, you can actually push the button before you press up.

By the way scrub question - I just hit 6x takedown for the first time after realizing that offensive burst resets gravity in a combo. Is there some sort of limitation to how offensive burst is supposed to be used in this game?

not that I know of, as long as you have 100% meter you can activate offensive burst

I think he meant, you can activate offensive burst if you have at least 100% meter.

Activation resets the gravity to about half. RG resets less.

is that from your experience or is that a known fact? i’m curious because i didn’t know about this.

Experience. You can test this with a Rider combo against a medium weight, let’s say Gilgamesh.

If you RG, you can do:

However if you activate, you can do:
…a+b+c 5b 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236bc

Then if you RG and activate, you can do:
…a+b+c 5b 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236aa RG 5b 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236bc
or
…RG 5b 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236aa a+b+c 5b 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236aa 5c 2c(1H) 236bc

If you do RG and activate, they both give you the same damage IIRC, however the RG -> Activation method is preferred due to meter.

Anyway, I’m currently working on one for Rider as well but it’s a pain in the ass atm. I have some other footage that I’ll up a bit later as it may be interesting to some. The quality will most likely be ass but it’s the idea that matters.
