saber vs. gil is pretty bad for saber… just cuse she can do death combos dosen’t mean a thing if you can’t get in… and that’s what gil can do… keep you out as well as putting hurt while not having to come at you at all…
Whatever you think Gilgamesh is, he’s better then that. Way better.
And no, I’m not complaining, it’s the truth .
6th link on the left.
Thanks. 138 has a badass Archer.
Gilg has 2 infinites that I’ve seen. I think Sakura has one but haven’t tested the meter gain/loss. I haven’t tested Archer’s infinite but I think it works. And I hear Caster has one too but I haven’t seen it. But the gayest character out of these would have to be Gilg.
Yeah caster has an infinite, I don’t know the notations for her specials but you just link her ice rain, skeleton, and the magic circle which holds the opponent in place with a red orb together over and over again but I don’t know in what order you have to do them in.
EDIT:
Here’s one of Gilgamesh’s infinites
Apparently works on all characters except Berserker
EDIT#2:
Found the other infinite for Gilgamesh, starts at 1:12
Start of round 2, Gilgamesh opens up with a bnb into infinite into unscaled super damage for the win… :shake:
(22c-623a-214b) x n in that order. It’s corner exclusive.
2nd easiest inf in the game.
I forget I can’t make jokes in this thread
The caster infinite is done in the corner/wall. It has a little timing to it, but not hard to get down. it’s:
Guard break,[22C, 623A, 214B]xn
She also has variations on it from mid screen that can also lead to death.
Archer has an infinite? Didn’t know that.
pbj-what’s the easiest inf then
Joke? what joke? this is the internet
I don’t know about an infinite for Archer but he has this 10k damage combo
The one someAzNscrub posted.
I see what you did there
use 2B as a low starter.
Archer’s infinite is a wall/corner too, I believe. ?5B?22C?2B?5C?22C) X n
Though I haven’t really did much testing but I believe it works.
couldn’t get that to combo when i tried it a while ago after i read it on the japanese wiki. also, i haven’t seen any vid yet where it’s used. probably just a good pressure string?
The 5B > 22C timing’s really strict, but it’s possible. I did it the other day.
Saber Alter vs Gil is 2193943293929 times worse then Saber vs Gil.
…and I have a death combo too. I never hit that bitch ONCE. Winners Finals/Grand Finals, I probably comboed Gil once for 6700 damage and still lost the round. It is the most infuriating shit I have ever played in my life. If I’m trying to combo, oh shit, here comes the chains into FREE COMBO. Fuck that shit, man.
After watching those a-cho matches, I had an idea and figured out a way to “cheat” to get into Saber’s otg loop easier. Instead of 6239A, I use 6239B > RG > 236B,236A > etc. It’s not the most efficient way to do the loop but it’s the most reliable for me since double tk motions really fast is hell for me. For some dumb reason against Kirei, when I get to the 2C>236236A part of it he always manages to tech roll in time. It might be me but it works against most other characters just fine. At the very least I can now start legitimately practicing the corner 214_ loop.
The chains hit you while you were already comboing him? I thought they went away once he starts getting hit? Or maybe they only go away after being hit when I play him:confused:
I don’t know what the properties of the held chains are but in one of the a-cho vids a Gilgamesh player put outs held chains then gets thrown, and after he got thrown he let go of the chains…
Any tips on doing motions like 623A and then jumpcancelled 6239B without a hadoken coming out? Because I’m practicing Rin combos and it’s really frustrating when instead of the double “rising kicks” (like 623a then 6239c) a hadoken comes out after the first “rising kick”. And it’s as annoying when I want to cancel the 623a kick into a 2369c jewel for the unprorated super combo and a 623c comes out.
So, any help? BTW, I’m playing on pad.
