Fate/Unlimited Codes aka?

lol

I’ll let meta feel himself for winning the tournament, can’t hate on that.

Good luck running that character once you guys realize how easily she gets shut down.

Just coz YOU suck with leys doesn’t mean SHE sucks!

wow

Now you’re just being ignorant.

So I just got off this game after spending an hour in practice mode. I played Rider and Boxer chick. I think that’s all I need to see character wise. PLEASE tell me that they don’t suck ass. Also, how do you use whatever the holy grail thingy is?
Also again, what do Rider and Boxer chick’s B supers d? I have no clue.

Is Zero Lancer tourney legal? I found an interesting loop with him. I was messing around and this is what I found:
5A -> 2A -> 5B -> 2B -> 623A (2 hits, Jump Cancel forward) j.A -> j.236C -> land -> 623A (2 hits, Jump Cancel forward) j.A -> j.236C -> land -> 623C (all 3 hits) -> (RC) -> 623A (2 hits, Jump Cancel forward) j.A -> j.236C -> land -> 623C (all 3 hits) -> into any special (such as 236A -> 236B -> 236C) or super (236236A super or 236236Bx2 (maybe 2 times) super or his holy grail super). If you use the holy grail at the end of the combo, the damage is around 6100. Not too bad.

Also, basic B&B (I think) is:
5A -> 2A -> 5B -> 6B -> 5c (2 hits) -> 236A -> 236B -> 236C.
After the 236C you can RC and go into another set, but the damage scale is not worth it.

His jumping C is great for cross ups. Jumping B is good to catch people off as you land on the ground as well.

Dunno about Bazett, but I can help with Rider almost certainly ^^

Rider is pretty good, though you will have to put in a fair bit of work to get the best results. Her combos aren’t really that easy and they don’t do a great deal of damage so getting to know her mix-ups/pressure is vital.

As far as Holy Grail goes, you have to have 300% Mana to use it, but have the cup in your favour…as it fills from damage taken, the last person to hit when it’s full gets the useage of their Grail super.

Rider’s B super removes her blind, which allows her to use Breaker Gorgon (A+B+C) after a successful hit (as well as doing the normal move cancel, it slows down your opponents movement significantly, allowing you to do a manner whole of combos). Through Breaker mode, Rider can use her Grail super, Blood Fort Andromeda, so yeah, you’re gonna have to put in some graft in order to use it :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks. I thought that slowdown mode was something that everyone had. Yeah, they fall slow as hell from air combos when in that mode.]

The only combo I messed with last night was a,a,a,b, cr.b, c, dn.c, dp+a, j.a ,j.b, dj.a, dj,b qcf+a

And I found out that her jumping c can be used as an instant overhead of sorts and that you can do it low enough so that it won’t hit and go for the low attack. I aso learned that her jumping c is a good crossup.

Now if someone could tell me what Bazetts C super does I think I can figure out the rest.

WAIT - Does Bazett have an infinite with her qcb+b air move? I can do a few reps of an air to ground combo due to that move, just didnt know if you had to alter your timing/add hits to keep the combo going.

not trying to take away meta’s tourney win… congrats… but leys does suck sir… she’s really slow… yea she got that super armor shit… and 2c unblockable… but damn yo can see that coming… and it’s obvious people lost because nobody knew how she works… but meta is a solid player so i can say congrats…

but i can’t really say nothing… im still learning saber… as you can tell when spooky post of the FUC casuals we had… that im still fucking up… there is a difference between grinding practice mode…and going through real matches… dosen’t matter if you camera struck or not… doing these combos in real matches is no joke…it takes alot of time…:wgrin:

devildigimon: i don’t how the hell your doing this on pad… so i say god speed to you sir

My thoughts exactly. I played someone 3 days after getting the game and i couldnt do any of the combos I was doing in practice mode.I can now but even still, im screwing up big time because its very easy to fuck up combos in this game lol. Playing real matches net gameplay experience no ammount of match videos or practice can give you that. It’s nice if you can execute super cool combos in practice mode, But when it comes down to Match exp, Practice mode means next to nothing.

This game is nowhere near as hard on a pad as playing Eddie/I-No on pad in GG.

I’m still surprised not many are using the braindead super bullshit that is caster.

Does anyone have an idea about how frame advantage works in this game? It seems like alot of moves are safe on block, but only a hand full give +frames/advantage on block(Shiro’s Slide, Kirei’s Stomp, Caster 6C). Kinda results in a spacing fest that gives crazy advantage to some characters (Caster, Gil, Lancer) and less to others (KIREI, Baz).

I gave up with her after a day, and went for easy mode saber, i definently want to start trying to use bazett though

Where are the vids to those tourney matches?

Nigga Kirei failed but I look forward to the matches.

Shit…Such FYzjqOWA0iE#t=2m26s"]**gdlk mixup[/B. Thanks for sharing.

the caster blocks the j.c while crouching.

Anyone play this game on the East Side?

Oh wait… forgot to mention

MADD props to me for getting, not one, but TWO throwbreaks in ONE match!

… it’s shit like this that makes me almost too GDLK!

…oops

wow that sucks

but at least the move is still good as a crossup

Haven’t I already said that Rider’s j.C can be blocked sitting down - might not have, but now you know ^^

And it’s not particularly easy to cross-up either.

Adds to the fun of the character :stuck_out_tongue:

That move would be nasty if it was a high. It still looks like a pretty good frame trap harassment (which is what the player in the vid seemed to be going for).
