Fast Food Strike in 50 Cities

So would, I, then the time would come again when rampant inflation and mismanagement by our so great leaders makes 18 dollars fucking useless

This solves nothing.

fire all these dumbasses and let em starve

Sweet, I am the white man.

/drinks fine scotch.

haha i went back & re-read the sonthemall thread…He never made it to my proven warrior list! I always thought that thread got deleted.

@ElderGOD
Absolutely not. If it was a shit job, you probably wouldn’t have to lie. When you do get the job though prepare to learn fast.

I second lying on resumes. I’ve seen people who don’t know shit get jobs that way. Some were fired for their incompetence, others thrived. It’s hilarious how few companies bother to call your former employers. Hell, I hire people and I don’t even do it.

This is true. Currently at my job only managers get over 30hours a week

Auchentoshan! I live down the road from their distillery, they do “taster tours” that are so good you’ll never remember them

I also second (third?) lying on resumes. I’ve been employed in a decent position at my workplace for 5 years now, and nobody has EVER asked to see hard evidence of my qualifications…I have them ofcourse, but it makes you feel a little cheated when you hit the real world and after all the hype, nobody really gives a f*ck about what you got haha…I should have spent all that time playing Mario Kart instead…

all you need is a friend with his own business (or somebody your friends/family know), let them know as well and only apply for a position where you actually have intell on the job. like something you done in the past or something you studied, go and try a day at said firm to get the know how.

if you got the connects, its not that hard.

I don’t think minimum wage is enough with these working conditions.

Come on folks. Let’s not all be stupid here. The way to get rid of all the fast food chains and stores like Walmart is to not spend money at these places! Wow, what a concept. Spend your money on local mom and pop fast food places, etc.

EDIT: That video AHHAHAAAHAH: At 0:27, “Don’t make me assume my ultimate form.” She must be Frieza…

next car pulled over because he STILL wants his mcmuffin

Mom and pop places don’t have extremely low-wage workers for me to safely take out my frustrations on online, so no thanks.

“Don’t make me assume my ultimate form” pffahahahaha, what the hell was she watching?

Edit: she said Super Saiyan later in that vid right before she smashed the window.

The cool thing about this is that he was cleared from all charges…The Mcbeatdown was warranted…This guy should be paid $15.

She knew the risks when she jumped over that counter.

At least post the SF version of that vid >:P

I make $15/hr as an IT tech without any certs.

The fact that i’ll end up getting paid the same amount as a person who pretty much says “May I take your order?” all day long and it usually without any real standard skills or qualities is bullshit.

Stay in school, kids.

“Pain and suffering” might actually be a thing with customer service. Just because the food is $3 doesn’t mean you can treat the workers like shit, like your money gives you leeway because you can’t deal with your own shit or seek the right therapy outlets.

There needs to be more explained in these stories and I don’t ever want to go on reddit to track them down but that’s the jist of them, any other horror story collection from retail could be replaced with these. Coffee to the face though? No criminal charges and or disfigurement from that kinda shit? - Coffee being too hot and spilled by a customer with no workers anywhere near them like having a hand in it was a big lawsuit before.

Unless you actually do have to deal directly with customers who don’t know anything, or are on the phone and have to prevent yourself from arguing “because the customer is always right.”
