Alright can anyone help he with this? I am having trouble doing sentâs basic combo: launch,short-fastfly,short+commando,fierce punch, rocket punch.
Now my problem with this is that commando is coming out to late. I saw a vid of josh wong and his commando comes out right when he is doing firece punch. WHen i do lk+commando, commando hitâs after i do the rocket punch, not when the firece punch connects. Does anyone have any suggestion to what i am doing wrong?

If you perform the sj.LK+Commando, sj.FP fast, it will affect how fast Commando comes out.
I have tried different ways of getting it to connect and the closes i got was doing:lk-fastfly, commando,lkfp,rocket punch. I push commandoâs assist button before the lk to try and get him to come out early but he comes out at the end of the fp and sometimes connects. If there a way to pause the lk+commando enough so that it will delay enough for the fp to connect? Everytime i do lk+commando, commando hits too late.
Dunno if it would help you but try FF+assist, fly with 3 buttons, thats how i do all my FF combos, its hard for me to do it with assist 1 but yeah, hope that helps. Another way of doing it is to delay fierce after FF, i think thats how most people do it.
one more thing, anyone put launch, short, ff, short, fierce, unfly, short, fly, short, unfly, short, fly+magnus, short, fierce, downward rocket punch midscreen in a combo vid yet?
You could always just do sj.LK, fly, sj.LK, sj.FP+Commando, Rocket PunchâŚ

and are fast fly combos really all that necessary ?
im askin cuz i tried launch,sj.lk,fly,f.lk+cyc,f.fp,f.RP and it only did a few more points than launch,lp lk lp lk rp.
Iâve got a few good ones:
s. fk + Cyclops, /\ sj. fp <wait, Cyclops hits> sj. fk xx RP (Does about 79 IIRC). This one is probably the most practical.
s. fk, /\ sj. lk xx FF, f. lk xx lp RP -> f. lk + Cyclops, f. lk xx DP RP (Somewhere in the 80âs IIRC). Little harder. I think Duc has a better, more damaging version of this combo.
s. fk, /\ sj. lp, sj. lp xx FF, f. lp + Cyclops, f. lp xx RP <Cyclopsâs bullet hits, and knocks the character back at you, so fly up>, f. lp xx RP -> f. lk, f. lk xx RP (I think around 90). This one is pretty much a training mode combo. I wouldnât attempt it in tourney, especially because the positioning is really tricky to get the bullet to knock the character back at you. Say youâre Sent and theyâre say⌠Cable, and youâre facing right. You need to be on the left hand side of the screen in order for it to work. So, this combo doesnât really work if you wavedash up to them and do it, because Sent would be facing to the right and would be on the far right hand side of the screen.
Anyway, hope that helps.
Fast Fly
I have been able to pull off a fast fly combo sometimes, but why canât I do this all the time? What is the best way to learn the fast fly combo? I know it isnât really worth it if I donât have an assist to add to the combo. I heard the characterâs position affects this combo. Where should Sentinel be while doing this combo?

dude, in your combo, after you do the airthrow, why not do f.lk + tron, f.hp, fly down f.lk, f.mk, DP RP

when i played storm/sent/tron i used to do a corner combo like rp xx hsf, dash in s.hk, sj.lp, sj.mp xx HP RP, sj.hp sj.hk otg rejump j.lk, j.hp, ground HP throw, c.lp, call tron, c.hp xx fly f.lk, f.mk xx DP RP
kills everyone
in the corner you can also fastfly into tron
ground HP throw, c.lp, c.hp xx fly, f.lk + tron, f. hp, LP RP
pretty much dead, dead enough for me
mess around w/ it, sent/tron kills people too quick

the only sent fast fly combo i know is launch, sj. lp, s. lk, fly, mag proj./cyke AAA, f. lk, f. fp, rocket punch.
for both mag and cyke, these are decent ones, right? i know with cyke thereâs a lot more, but what about mag?
any1 got any combos with mag proj. ?

and wat is the most practical, high damage fast fly combo 4 both these assists that do alot more damage then sentâs magic series rocket punch ?
