I’ve been in Minot for the past two years and never thought about trying to use this site to find some kind of fighting scene up here. How is the tourney scene around the state? It looks like Fargo has tourney’s going does anybody know anything like that happening for Bismarck?
Hey guys, for this upcoming school year should we get a round table discussion going of all the more prominent players and TOs of the big cities in ND? I’m thinking Fargo/Moorhead, Grand Forks, Minot and Bismarck for the most part. If we got a big state scene going, that would be absolutely nuts!
I’m down, kruger and I would gladly help lead a tourney series I’m sure, monthlies or something.

I’m willing to try and help out with Tourneys. Like I said I’m in Bismarck and working on my game but I just cant seem to break out of my crap play style right now. Anyone in Bismarck that would like to meet up and play? maybe show each other a thing or two?
Just curious on who all is planning on getting Third Strike Online? I’m one of that crowd who got into fighters with SF4, so I missed it the first time around. So I’ve been playing it on GGPO lately…and getting bodied. I mean, completely destroyed. Its not pretty…probably because I want to play the game like SF4. But fireball shenanigans just don’t work, and doing my T. Hawk-like mixup with Hugo doesn’t work as well with parries in there…
I don’t like getting beat that badly ;_;
Third Strike Online is a must for me. I liked playing fighters ever since Turbo 2 but never really got deep into a fighter until playing 3S with a bunch of friends. Whenever it comes out day one purchase for me.

I can’t believe the Minot scene only has the two of us… A few of you guys in Fargo… A couple in Bismark. You think the guys post elsewhere or just never heard of SRK?
It’s very hard to believe that there are only 2 gamers in Minot. are there any tournaments that go on with any type of frequency in the state of ND? maybe we should try to get something going monthly? just throwing out ideas let me know what you all think. If need be i’m willing to drive to one of the other cities occasionally for a well put together event.
