Speaking of HYPE . . . I have my own mystery announcement :wow: The Saltmine has been doing EVERYTHING we can to make this community what it should be. We always have shit in the works, but this one is BIG. Be there at 7 pm sharp this Saturday (7/24) and find out what all the hype is about. No one will have seen this one coming. Iām just as excited as the day the Saltmine was announced. I want as many of us there as possible for the announcement!
Figured since I deleted my facebook long ago, I should at least get signed up on SRK since I spend a lot of time looking up new strategies here.
For you guys at the SaltMine, Iām the Cammy player with the dive kick setups everyone loves so much. Iām trying to work out a schedule with work and school that will let me get back to fargo at least 1 or 2 times a month to get to the weekend tourneys/casuals.
Also, and I know this is a bit of a stretch, anyone in Jamestown during the school year Iām working on some plans to get a few people together to level up the competition. Even if you donāt know the first thing about playing Street Fighter or Marvel Iāll happily get anyone in town to a more competitive level.
Hey Joe, glad to see you on SRK. Unfortunate though that you werenāt at the Saltmine tonight. The new setups are amazing, along with the new location.
But hey, casual nights twice a week? Iāll take that. Hopefully weāll see some more people come in as well!
I want to say a HUGE thanks to everyone who came out for the big announcement yesterday! We announced that the Saltmine now has TWO LOCATIONS! We now have TWO MEETINGS EVERY SINGLE WEEK!!. Our new location āThe Saltmine Proving Groundsā will be open EVERY Friday at 7 p.m. @ 1602 47th St S APT 305 near the big Scheels. IN ADDITION to our original Moorhead location being open EVERY Saturday! An absolute GARGANTUAN effort was made to make the Proving Grounds what it is. We have 3 LCD monitor set-ups (2 are Evo monitors with more Evo monitors coming very soon. We also have one of the monitors split to a 40" Samsung for audience viewing. I will let the pictures speak for themselves! We also a TON of stuff in the works including professional streaming equipment at our Moorhead location! Be ready for a LOT more games being played and MORE CRAZY ASS HYPE SHIT coming in the near future!! WE WILL SEE YOU THERE!!

In general the Friday meetups tend to be a bit smaller and laid back, but there are always people looking to play UMVC3. Saturdays usually work out better for most people and thatās when most people can make it. Try and make it out sometime, nothings better than having a new player to keep everyone from getting lazy.
