Nocturnal, you use watercolors really well. ^^ The blue shading is really good.
Iām still new to watercolors, been doing more watercolor stuff lately which is pretty fun for me at least. I like how it turns out in the end but I still need to work more on getting different types of shades as well. Thanks for the comment as well.

Meryl pic is has a nice moody feel to it ā which is really quite interesting since itās done in the same style as the Liquid & Raven! The funny comment speech bubble thing makes a lot of difference.

I find it amazing how you knock out all these really awesome works on Oekaki boards. Everything looks really good (even the half-done Meryl).

Meryl pic is ok, but Iām really liking the multiple shots of the Ninja. I especially like the fisheye top-down oneā¦ like heās looking into a closed-circuit camera.
Mantis in watercolours is very nice. Not an easy medium to master, but I think youāve handled it well.

verrry sweet Meryl pic, nicely done. I think thereās something not quite right about her right hand (seems a bit too small), but thatās really just me nitpicking.
Ninja pic done in similar style to SFMCās recent stuff is really nicely done. Not quite sure I get the hand placement on the sword, though.

Sketchy red-black Psycho Mantis pic is very stylized, reminds me of Blair Witch for some reason. In a good way; the other Psycho Mantis pic (Madden) is one of the reasons why MGS is a fun series ā because Kojima likes to screw with your head

and also thx for all the comments on Meryl, was trying something diff (hence the red underpaint) and avoided having to modify my colour layer so that my stuff doesnāt look all listless. Hard crit (from Giby, VSlash, Grapple, et al) is on the money, Iāve actually lost touch with drawing / digital art ā¦ which is why so much of my stuff is looking (and gonna look) awkward and weird until I either (1) relearn what Iāve forgotten; or (2) learn some other new way of doing it. Thx for all the crit, I really appreciate it!
And hereās a Ninja pic, done in my pencil style (but in OpenCanvas, not on paper) and with a bit of colour added in. As suggested by VSlashā¦ thx for the suggestion man, I found it cathartic.

Rook: Iām really liking that Ninja man, only crit is his left arm looks a little short. The forearm section especially, perhaps the foreshortening isnāt quite working. Really solid sketch though.

Thanks for the comments Rook, yea I was trying different angles with the ninja since I didnāt know what to do. I could have just picked one of those angles for a full piece instead. Also very nice Ninja I need to mess around more with digital sketching or just doing a full digital piece. Iāll post my Sniper Wolf once I get it done, trying to do it all digital.

rook: now THATās the rook we know. after taking a second look, i agree with grap. the right arm does look a little short, but overall i think iāve picked my favorite of your submissions.
noround: her right arm looks a little long, but i think itās the effect caused by the cut off arm. also, that makes meryl look like sheās just hanging thereā¦ for no reasonā¦ the shoulder and the deltoid of same arm look a little bit big. the torso could use a little reshapping, so the main thing i could say is just to work more on female formā¦ i know i still have a thing or two to learn. but good entry. letās see the limit of your abilities
