There is a cover system? Ive seen my companions use cover but I can too?
All you need to do is move up right next to a suitable piece of wall or whatever. Your gun will point to the ground. Then all you have to do is aim down sights and you character will pop/lean out. When you stop aiming down sights you move back.
There is also a help menu on the pause screen.

Raiders should never have missle launchers under any circumstances. Fucking bums attacking my settlements with those, wtf bruh.
Anyone else get the feeling the Brotherhood of Steel seems like the badguys in this game.
Justice is my favorite gun so far. Total beast, never lets me down. People probably miss out on it if they cleared out the Covenant village sidequest before buying it. Shit is expensive (without charisma perks) but well worth it.
Also got the 2077 World Series Bat. Easily my favorite melee so far. One hit kill on a lot of lower level enemies, with a chance to homerun their heads off. Brutal.
Weight capacity struggle is real, even with perks and giving stuff to companions.
I’ve got a four crank Assassin’s Laser Musket that let’s me oneshot snipe most human legendaries as long as they don’t have power armor, and that’s without any help from perks. Upgraded tire iron is surprisingly effective too, for whatever reason. I’ve got the Shishkebab now, and I have a lot of nostalgia for it but I’m not really convinced yet it is actually better than the tire iron.
I’ve gotten a bunch of other legendaries that are kind of a mixed bag- good stuff in just the right situation but generally less useful than carrying a few upgraded mundane weapons. So much stuff is immune to radiation or poison, for example. Have a +25% damage pipe revolver, pretty competitive with a shot gun for up close work. The laser rifle you get early in the BoS quest chain would be really great if you went with a luck and agility heavy VATS build.
The Cryomancer is ridiculously good

The Cryolater is okay, but finding ammo for it is a bitch.
I prefer the Flamer. I upgraded it for max damage, it annihalates Raiders and Super Mutants.
I got the Junk Jet early too, never used. I prefer having junk as settlement resources rather than as ammo for a gun.
Pre-war money is almost as common as bullets and doesn’t give anything but cloth, which is probably the easiest resource to find or scrap.
I’d just use that.
Best Fallout moment of the night: shooting the mini-nuke holding arm of an onrushing suicide bomber Super Mutant at the precise moment he’s about to pass the legendary Glowing Mutant Hound that’s beating the shit out of Dogmeat. For that one brief instant my lasgun had the firepower of a Fat Man.

So console command is p much useless in this game. God mode is still a command, but unlock or the kill Never works.
Dev room is the best command.
Anyone here able to run this game with a PC that is under the minimum recommended specs?
Some bum stole my power armor. Now I have to remember to always take the fusion core with me if I leave my new one somewhere.

Playing this game on a mouse and keyboard for extended periods of times takes a toll on your arms and shoulders. It also doesn’t help that I have an incredibly cramped desk and a shitty chair. Had to plug in the Dualshock 4 for this game.
