Who’s dash isn’t?
Better in what way? Doesn’t Ken have the fastest dash with 15f?
That’s like saying it’s impossible to get a perfect on Ryu because he can just do an invincible shoryu and chip you. The move still has start-up/recovery frames, even the fastest V-Triggers in this game are punishable at point blank if you just raw-activate them.
I feel like the poison damage isn’t quite enough to get people motivated to behave differently. Players look like they can basically just ignore it without having to worry about anything really.
They should boost poison damage slightly and make his V-Skill do 1% actual damage, just to really screw over people with a sliver of health left.
the reality is that we’re going to have to wait and see how the game balances up. right now everyone is just going rushdown and zoning is roflmao. wait until we get guile/sagat/etc. and the game slows down to foosties when chun’s buttons start getting figured out and the poison will be more of an impact.
His V-Reversel is so weird.
His s.lk seems to be like Chun. Both hits of c.hp(?) Are special cancellable and his vreversal is hilarious

- C.lk, c.lp/s.lp xx special works
- C.mp cannot be linked into anything (maybe c.jab? Didn’t confirm this
- S.mp can not be special cancelled
- C.mk can be special cancelled
- CH c.mp does not combo into sweep
- J.hk (neutral jump and direction) can combo into s.hp with or without counter hit, not sure where I saw it needs a CH.
- S.LK is can be special cancelled
I think he has access for a little bit longer, will post if there’s anything new
that cr.hp cancel into runaway is really nice.

Looks like first hit of cr.hp knocks down on AA. Should be able to do cr.hp xx ex trap at the very least. You can probably also do Cr.hp xx EX Fireball, then they will bounce of both and then possibly do a palm thrust? or maybe even a sweep.
Anyone know if his cr.hk is cancelable on first hit?
It also looks like Poison actual takes from the available life bar. So you can still build white life on top of poison and poison will not lower the white life amount.

he looks pretty good to me. i think his v-trigger might not be the best in order to encourage you to use v-reversals with him (might end up being essential).
by the same token, i think the fact a lot of his moves are 2 hits means he’s going to be extremely vulnerable to v-reversal. this is what might be his biggest weakness long term (along with his jab speed). his moves being 2 hits was probably a design choice so people have a chance to stop the double pressure of poison and normal chip damage.
