ideally the v-trigger is to punish people for going in on you but also to up his damage…they gave him an EX-dash to get in so thats cool.

The lie down move is still a complete mystery to me. There seems to be at least a kick follow up but I’d really like to know more.
I guess the double knee must be a command move, and I hope the AA double punch is not something that requires charge.
As long as it has similarly ridiculous hitbox and active frames I’d be OK with Psycho Sleeve.

I havent seen anyone mention the juggle properties on the floor poison. At some point combofiend combos into it in the corner. The initial hit pops up like always but then it gets a second hit in. Combo seems to try this like 4 more times after that but it only ever hits once outside the corner.
I cant grab a timestamp at the moment but i believe its in one of the necalli matches, and does like 35% damage to close out the round. Iirc it was 9 hits total…maybe there was a stun before it too?
It almost looks like it bounces high enough to get another hit in. At the very least you could v-skill and probably still be fairly positive for maybe a light or medium fireball

As a separate note i wish we had a video showcasing all of FANGs normals…it feels like combo only used a small subset of them…did he even ever press mk or lk? Actually…did he use any standing normal other than the double kick? (Hk or f.hk)
anybody notice in the combfiend/ross video that Fang’s projectiles bounce on the ground as well?
i love that capcom is emphasizing trap zoning with fang/dhalsim/birdie its so much better than chucking plasma. we’ll get those guys though for sure with guile, sagat eventually, etc.
I like the emphasis on trap zoning too. It’s more setup centric and less “spammy” which is good for spectating purposes.
You never know what you’re going to get with Guile and Sagat though. Nobody would have figured Nash and Vega would be motion characters with anime teleports and command grabs. We’ll see.
His inclusion makes me wonder whether putting Dhalsim in is really a good idea. They’re too much alike, no?
Charge vs Motion, zoning with specials vs normals, what seems like a mostly grounded game compared to a solid air game. More importantly, F.A.N.G is a proactive zoner, chucking out poison that the opponent has to weave his way through. Dhalsim is a reactive zoner, pressing the right buttons at the right time on reaction to stop his opponent from getting in. I’d say they’re definitely different enough.

i don’t know the priority on Cammy’s dive kick but Fang is definitely beating it with a properly timed …D+HP or whatever the double air punch is
priority on dive kicks is usually garbage, it’s just that they alter the timing. two-hit anti-air lets him anti-air both timings.
