Hey guys I’m new to F.A.N.G and couldn’t find much in the way of a repository of setups so I made one. Hope this is useful. Incidentally, I had no idea of determining whether the Nishikyu xx ex. Nikankyaku crossed up or not besides eyeballing. Can someone confirm that these are legitimate? I’ll annotate them out if not.

Record the setup to the dummy and try blocking each way, that’s the best way to test it by yourself.

I didn’t think st.lp cancels into sotoja ever.

I don’t think it does either, and the situation you have listed would mean you would be able to sLK,sLP,sLP,sHP, EX Sotoja anyways.

Oh yeah. Haven’t had to do that since sf4. Yep, they all work. Only thing is you seem to need an ex. Nikankyaku to make the Nishikyu cross up after a cc sweep.

The second stlp on the stlk>stlp>stlp>sthp>whatever after coward crouch hits on the 3rd active frame making it +8 on hit (pretty much like a counter hit one) so ex sotoja should combo after it iirc. Not practical because as you said you can link sthp after the stlp anyway,but thats why it works

Ex sotoja is 14 frames start up though, there’s no way to make st.lp is +14, how does cancelling work with it?
