That is the most confused half-insult I’ve ever read on SRK.
Laggy Akuma players are perhaps the very worst thing about OE lately. Impossible to parry, silly mix-up dedicated to rollback and I’m can’t express how most OE players main form of strategy is to throw out a hard red fireball expecting parry bait just so they can try some obvious high low “mix-up” afterwards. When I started playing I think I played two matches attempting to parry the whole thing in it’s entirety and was like “whelp, can’t do that”.
I think the worst for me lately is players who counter pick my Q with Akuma and tastu till I’m dead from chip or parry attempts. Even if I manage to red parry, stock a super or parry the whole tatsu, no biggie for those Akuma players they just do it again. Really frustrating. What sucks is this tactic even works offline.

Ok can somebody explain to me the definition of scrub please? Cause I keep seeing it thrown around, I thought a scrub was somebody who thinks they are good at a game and thinks they dont have to learn the game but actually sucks and does stuff like mashing, and unsafe moves/normals all the time. Not somebody who is bad but actually trying to learn the game. Am I wrong?

Im not worried I am Cause I know Im not. Im not the best player but I don’t COMPLETELY suck and actually try to learn things. I just wanted somebody to tell me what it actually means cause I keep seeing it thrown around so much.
I think people confuse scrub and noob a lot. It pretty much has to do with mentality IMO. A noob has obvious faults due to their novice approach to the game but ultimately tries to better themselves, learn the engine, develop their game and even if they suck they have a positive outlook on their own personal development despite their reservations about the engine. A scrub to me is completely the opposite. They complain and make excuses for their loses, get super salty and feel the world and the game is the problem. You can be a good player and still be a scrub. My personal experience is most “pro” players tend to not harbour that mentality.
But if you don’t consider that to be a scrub what Tebbo said is pretty accurate. Haha.
