Row lost” If the room wasn’t muted, I think all 250 people woulda said “aww shit its over” The guy giving us live commentary is like “Do you want me to continue?” random op’d / voiced people “Why bother ?? just tell us who wins @_@” He gave live commentary anyways and it sounded like Ricky almost had the last game. But who knows. Sure its not fair to Ricky, but what do you expect when someone who no one thought to make the final 8 is going against Justin in the finals. It was over and everyone knew it.

I wish people would have this much passion when it comes to other fucking games when we are getting our fucking brains kicked in by japanese in any game not named MvC2!!!:bluu: Fuck the EC vs. WC MvC2 bullshit and let’s try to get up to the japanese level of play in a real streetfighting game like 3S, ST, and CvS2. Yes we had some upsets in Cvs2 over some of the top japanese players, but we didn’t win the damn tournament. We argue over MvC2 while japan leaves us in the dust in any other capcom game. Sure we closed the gap a little bit, but we still lost.

cvs2 being best of 1 is sick… learning how to adapt and counter pick is half the game so you have to be like 3x better than your opponent to get a clear victory… japanese are still ages ahead…
maybe the next sf will be fast enough for best 2/3

A normal responds from a die hard MvC2 player, but there are other games made by capcom. Don’t be one trick pony when trying to get better at capcom games. Soon MvC2 will be old news and then what are you going to play? IMO playing more games makes you an over all better player in capcom games. You see justin do well in CvS2 also. He’s not a one trick pony, but some people are happy with being a pony. No disrespect just my opinion on the tournament scene. The 15th anniversary of Streetfighter is next year and I don’t think that the next capcom game on the “STREETFIGHTER” 15th anny will be a VS game. It might be 2-3 years before the next VS game comes out. This year was the Megaman’s 15th anny and there are 3-4 games released this year under the megaman name. Now the next fighting game may be SF4 or SFA4, but IMO it won’t be Marvel vs. DC vs. Image vs. Capcom vs. SNK. Streetfighter started the fighting game scene and you can bet sfa4 or sf4 is the next game to be released. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. You have your views and I have mines. Becuz everyone knew he had n chance of beating justin…just like he forfeited to justin last time they were out here for the Tips and tricks tourney, and chose to go to to losers without playing him(this was near the end of the tourrney). And the ec vs wc meant EXACTLY what happened…EC has justin (nobody argues that he’s not the best), but after justin wc has the better players.

The reason the Japs are not as good in MvC2 is probably because they don’t care much about the game and don’t play it as much…
