about EC vs WC
personally, i think in mvc2, the WC has better players all around…cats like soo, ghengis, row, nano, kuan, david lee, sin, clock, they can all give people royal rogerings at any given time around the U.S. The only thing EC has is Wong and Mixup (p.s. what happened to Xecutioner?). Sanford? yeah, like he was gonna make much a difference…he gets molested by the WC players at their tourneys…cmon now…i think EC has the best player, but not the best group of players…

Yeah I agree on that…those foolz were good. I saw some good stuff from josh in semi’s and i wanted to see more in 5on5 and finals but it seemed like he kept messing up.
sorry u misunderstood me there chief…i didnt mean to say that the EC has only 2 noticable players…i only meant to say that you can count the “noticable” mvc2 players on the EC on one hand where as the WC has a multitude of them…props goes out to both coasts…i beat X when he came down to Houston for Texas Showdown 2 outta 2 times (casual play) but u dont see my name on the cover story of SRK…you dont become a “noticable” player by just beating a good person, you do it by repeatedly placing high in nationals and regionals AND beating other noticables over and over…
i think 3rd Coast (Gulf Coast) and the The North should get a crack at a team tournament next year when EVO rolls around…i know we’d get raped but just to see how we fare…we (south) only have a handful of good players too but i think its only fair to match up the best of the best from all 4 corners of the U.S…i think it would be cool…
Bottom Line: Big Ups to all that placed and to all that traveled to this…theres no mistakes about getting top 32 in a tournament of this caliber…who ever placed should BE there and no one can take that away from them…

I see the east coast going over to the west coast tournaments and I don’t see that many west coast playa’s coming over to the east coast major’s. The east coast proformance in mvc2 vs. the wc is mainly battled on WC turf. Beside the seattle MvC2 crew, what top mvc2 player from the west coast has gone to 1 of the east coast majors in the last 2 years? None that i’ve seen. If i’m wrong someone correct me. Why don’t some of ya’ll come to one of the EC majors and beat them on the EC turf. We all knew that justin can’t be beaten and finally people in cali will stop hating on Mike Mixon “Mixup” and give him the props he deserves after playing him in EVO. That’s my main problem with this shit talking. Every top mvc2 player doesn’t live on the west coast. When will this bullshit ever stop?!?!?!!?!? Why am I even talking about mvc2 anyways?
I don’t even like that game, but I can’t stand the i’m from the west coast so i’m better than you attitude. If the WC comes to “1” EC major and house the EC in they’re back yard then ya’ll have all the right to talk shit. Justin Wong is like Lance Armstrong in MvC2 right now. The B/EVO is originally a WC tournament that grew into an international tournament. With that in mind the east coast has won the last 3 WC majors. Well hell, he has won every MvC2 he has entered in the last 3 years. Mike came the closes to beating him in his 3 year run at ECC8. WC has the players no doubt, but don’t sell the EC short just because all of them can’t make it to EVO. That’s all i’m saying.

Like I said on GCC, the EC is making excuses for their team losing, while WC is trying to rub their noses in the dirt. Whatever happened to good sportsmanship on either sides?
Actually, let me correct myself. The actual players, like Soo, Mixup, etc, haven’t said shit. They’ve all probably pretty much figured, “Good game. Good shit.” It’s the fanboys who either A) Didn’t go, or B) Suck shit who are the one’s talking garbage.
