Sorry for not updating the first thread more. Just got home. Anyone know anything more with ST? Is the Marvel 5v5 happening? I know it’ll be a massacre, but I’d still like to watch since I’m a fan of the game.
Watch the 4th cached stream from Friday night’s MvC2 pool play. It’s the final 2 games in that vid, so just jump to -3:00 at the end. It’s also on Youtube, but the grainy quality reconverted to Youtube is harsh on the eyes.
EC/WC 5v5 isn’t happening. Only thing I know about ST is that Afrolegends beat Buktooth. I’m pretty curious if Soo and Infinite had their ft10 for 1K mirror money match in Marvel.
Are the ST brackets still going on? I’m going on #capcom on Efnet to see what I can fish up.

Gian’s first loss was to Tokido, his second was to Graham Wolfe, and man was it brutal! Gian had Graham in the corner with no life and supered, but Graham reversal supered for the win
I didn’t even know that was possible, I thought Dhalsim was completely invulnerable during his super! I will watch that video over and over and over and over when it is released

They both played incredible though, it’s very fun to watch them play

oh btw: we are going to be playing on PS1 ST from now on at our tournaments, CCC2 is bullshit and should be tossed in your local neighborhood dumpster (just kidding, it’s not really that bad)
but Gian says there is input lag(!) on CCC2, and that the PS1 version is the good one, and I believe him

Nate qualified in ST, which was nice.
I was one win away from qualifying in MvC2 in both the winner’s and loser’s and choked, sorry. I lost to Fanatiq 2-1 in winner’s - he played MST and had one-button dash. Uh, I can’t beat that with Megaman. Sadly, everybody said I SHOULD have had it (evidently I should have had game one as well? don’t know - don’t remember it) but really, I don’t care because Megaman should NOT be able to beat one button dash awesomeness/cheapness. (I’m all for banning it, but whatever.) But Fanatiq is top 5, so that’s not a bad loss.
I lost to Ace/Taiji in loser’s and must admit I kind of gave up on that/didn’t care too much. He picked SSCyke and I just didn’t care enough to switch away from Megaman. Ace was 9th, so again: evidently a good loss.
Sorry! I tried. 
We did OK in the team tourney, I think taking 13th or 17th out of way too many teams (me, Ranma (Megaman/Cable/Tron), BB Hood (Iron Man/BB Hood/Doom)). CJ and I had a fun MSP vs Megaman/Tron rematch which I pulled out pretty strongly. I really respected that he wanted to see how his MSP did. I play that way too, which is why I lost to Ace. :lol:
Um. I talked to Mike Chaos and Justin J/DarkPrince and everything’s fine there. That crowd is really obnoxious and pretty abrasive to the EC crowd. Strange strange people compared to Seattle where everybody is nice/fun/friendly. Mike Chaos is suprisingly good at Marvel. There were almost a couple fights between Chaos & Josh and Nelson & Fanatiq, but I made to sure to get in the middle there and shut that down because that would be stupid and doom Evo.
Hm. So yeah, it’s fun but random as usual. No TVs for us to use today, so that’s sad. Who wants to watch CvS2?
OH! And Tao is here. It was nice to see him. Evidently those guys drove down. That’s savage. He did pretty well. Anyways, yeah, seen a lot of people. Ask and I’ll try to remember. I’ll probably see if I can get the brackets again so that I can answer questions for the curious.
