if you reserve the hotel, they put the first night stay down on your CC as a deposit. as long as you cancel within their policy, though, you get it back. if you just don’t show up and don’t tell GVR, you will be losing about $200 bucks.
as for getting a plane ticket, most are non-refundable these days, so the answer there is probably a no.
sounds good. That makes my 99% chance of showing up a 99.9% chance. w00t
All I need to do now is get the hotel in order and the plane, and I’m set to go.
Although Valaris said I might be able to chill with him, does anybody have only two people in a room, that I can stay Friday / Saturday nights. I’ll probably be leaving Sunday, as I do have classes the next day.
Important question: are the spots at evo world as limited as they are at evo west – in other words, in order to have a spot, do all of us who plan on competing at evo world need to register online ASAP? I really need to know this – and I am certain that others would appreciate knowing as well.
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I have not seen it yet, and I just want to know…
When will a day-to-day schedule for evo world get posted? Will all the qualifying pools for 3s start on Friday, or Saturday? I am trying to find out if I should go to vegas on thursday or friday.
If it’s like last year, Friday is just early registration and BYOC practice, and the actual tournament starts on Saturday, then there’s no point in getting to vegas on thursday.
I’m wondering the same thing. I signed up for ST and I got an e-mail receipt from PayPal, but I haven’t received any EVO-specific email. I’m assuming that since I have a receipt that the registration was successful and I’m good to go. Is this the case?
