finding a hotel in downtown SD during con is almost impossible. as markman said you guys should just get a hotel thats close to a trolley station. i think it would be much cheaper. a ticket for the trolley to go down town is like $2.50 one way, at least thats what i remember. and its not even a long trip. and if you think youre gonna get lost by taking the trolley, trust me most of the people riding the trolley that weekend are going to comiccon. so just follow them.
he trolley on E street has about 4-5 hotel/motels, its in Chula Vista for those who are going to mapquest the area.
ps I haven’t been there in awhile but theirs a breakfast place across the street from the trolley that makes bomb waffles.
I always stay in Old Town san diego, and take the trolley from there. The transit station is within walking distance of old town, and takes you directly to the con with no transfers during big events (just take the special event trolley)
darn bro what are you talking about??? if this individual is not from here (prob not) I doubt he’ll want to go to our part of the neighborhood for sightseeing especially with a bag of shit he just purchased from sdcc or even if he does come down for shits n giggles, he’ll probably realize that the omni was a better option for playing games rather then the crapper that is CV tilt. :wasted:

Ive got nothing with comicon or its followers but damn this is gonna suck. Everyone in one hotel would be dope. you could just go randomly knocking to find some gaming sessions and now if your stuck in a shitty hotel you might not have any comp for those late night evo crack sessions. How whack.

at last year’s comic-con street fighter tourney, there was a lot of cosplayers and random ass people up in there… i remember trying to sign up, but the capcom booth told me shit was already full…

I’m not sure, but the way I understand the OP is just that the tourney is being held coincidentally near the comic con… not that we need to enter to con to enter the tourney.
