Ok here is the deal.
Since the event is at the hotel, you technically dont need a badge, but some of the finals might be held inside the con, so you would need a badge to see those.
We do not have any discounts available, so go ahead and get a badge now.
Is this going to be a 3 day event or just Sat and Sun?
We are currently working on the schedule, but it might be something like evo east, where a few games will start friday night.

So the badge isn’t required if we are going to attend EvoWest? That means if players were just going to play in pools/semi’s and really didn’t care for watching finals there wouldn’t be a need to purchase a badge?
I ask because that was my original plan anyway, to play in pools/semi’s and not come back sunday for finals since I have to work. I really don’t care for CC or anything else going on at the hotel except for EvoW and if I don’t need to buy a badge in order to compete in EvoW that would be awesome.

if someone could post some info on how to go about getting the Comic Con badges, it would be greatly appreciated. Also any advice on how to get them without having to wait in line would be godlike.

The wait really isnt bad since you pre registered. Its only if you didnt preregister where the lines suck.
Seriously, if you just show up there and try to register on a Saturday, especially… the line starts at 6 AM sometimes earlier lol…
