I just want to say this is really good for me since i always go to con.
As for parking my advice is to use the trolley system. Just park at one of the places along the trolley route (i usually park at fashion valley mall) and then just buy a trolly pass for a couple days (usually like $15). As for waiting in line for the badges. Just pre-register for con http://www.comic-con.org/ and the wait in line will be much much much much shorter. if you dont pre register the line is so long youāll be waiting for hours.
Yea, wait to see if wiz comes up with a deal for badges, you donāt want to wait in lines for the badges, esp on Friday/Saturdayā¦ thatās a death trap in the morningā¦
so how does it work with the badges? once you have to badge you just flash it and they let you it. how long is the line and wait if you have the badge?

lines for the badges can be long but i remember all the times iāve been there, the lines moves very quickly. not as bad as everyone thinks
probably the wait for the line to actually move is the killer. bring something to do/snack on before you get there
yeah once you get your badge they just have security people at all the entrances checking badges of people going into the convention center.

Just like google for hotels in san diego and find something thats trolley adjacent. The trolley goes right up to the convention center so youāll just need a trolley pass (which you buy at the little trolley station things for like $15 for 4 days) and probably give yourself like half an hour of travel time on the trolley.
It may not be as ideal as being right next to the convention center but good luck finding one of those if the comic-con site doesnt have any available. This way would probably be cheaper too.
