Overworld: Humbag is not talking about tournaments. He’s talking about Japanese vs American sticks and NO, you would not go by what people play on in tournaments because the data is too little.
If a fighting game sells a million copies, why would you go by the data only of a 50 man tournament? You have to to market research at the casual players, and not the hardcore people, which is only a FRACTION of the player base.

Blanka doesn’t need any fancy inputs but in my experience stick makes a big difference with mashing bites.
