I purposely whiffed that Ultra against the Akuma player. Without Ex bars to cancel into anything, I was dead that round. It was a fun exhibition tournament. I actually enjoyed and loved Seth’s commentary for calling me a G2 player. It’s a game, it’s meant to be fun. If you take this shit too seriously then I wish you luck in life in general.
It’s just a game. Some teams did pick in weird ways, so next year there should def be qualifying tournaments so there’s less heartache.
I’m siding with Sabre on this one. A lot of OG’s that have been around for a long time were up on stage with good winning records throughout the years of Street Fighter. A lot of new faces are popping up and that’s great for the game and competition. But until the new blood can make statements in their area and get recognized, it’s gonna be tough to get noticed over OG’s in the community.
Mag man You beat me in the losers finals to move on to day 2. I’ve never played against a good Chun Li Player and you impressed me.
One game matches can be flukes as well as 2/3. I knocked Ricky Ortiz in Pool 11 into losers. He’s a better player 200% but on that day, I had a better game that day, got lucky and won. Then Lost to ShadyK in the winners finals against What was my weakness at EVO, Akuma.
I do feel bad for what transpired in the Southeast’s Choosing, but I stand by Trent and his decisions that were made.
Only one way to Decide. LET’S SETTLE THIS AT FINAL ROUND NEXT YEAR.
Or you could attend one of my many events in Orlando, FL on the tournament thread. But traveling is of course a dumb issue. Seems like Final Round will help decide the top players in the Southeast.

Even when I went into the florida room to make amends, I put the shit aside it was all smiles and I just played with yall casually. The guys I played were spamming ultras, had no footsies and guessed their asses off. It was all good though until I say something on srk and you know people just can’t stand the truth.
I went up to Nestor the next day and told him I didn’t want there to be any animosity between me and him. My words were “I don’t think I over-reacted on stage, but I’m willing to let all that shit go”. That’s all there is to it. Now you florida people are gonna come on SRK and insult me as a person? I’m no where near the kind of person to curse and yell at people, but like I said, I didn’t bus all the way to evo to just sit and watch. So when I’m expected and wanted to be on a team, there’s no way I’m gonna take being taken off like that just sitting my ass down.

And if his main intention for taking a bus from nc to vegas was to help rep the southeast in the 5on5, and then get booted at literally moments before the 5on5 started, is pretty disrespectful. I know I would be pissed, who wouldn’t? So his reaction is totally warranted. There’s ethics involved. You just don’t shit on someone like that.
