It’s shitty because they’re commentating an event that 10’s of thousands of people are watching and even aside from their bias, they don’t know the fucking rules of the tourney they’re commentating, they don’t know the format of the current match, they don’t even know when fights are over and they can’t stay on topic for more than 10 seconds before they start bringing up stories from the old days. Given the tone of most of your posts, I don’t doubt that you don’t have a problem with douchebag, bias announcers. They don’t add to the “hype” unless you get hyped over piss poor commentary. Be better off if they didn’t say shit and just played the sound effects from the match.
But, yo dawg, I ain’t trying to hate homie. I’m glad some of you gangsta’s like this fresh commentary. Peace!

I’ve honestly got no fuckin problems with the announce team. This isn’t the NBA or the NFL…and hell, I’d like for Jeff Van Gundy to talk shit about his brother and how he’s a lousy coach from time to time.
As far as not knowing the rules? Its a huge fucking tournament and even the SSF4 team was lost at some point as to what the particulars of a bracket were, so shut the fuck up.

At least you had a valid opinion on not liking their commentary but I’m glad you got this magic rule book they don’t. Also, it’s not the commentators fault for not knowing how many sets the players are playing, news flash – the players didn’t know either. Sounds like TO’s fault.

The only problem with the commentary is how much Aris keeps reminding everyone ho wmuch he roots for the USA and how all other countries suck.
Their commentary is ok and at least they know the game. Now Team Spooky has the most annoying commentators IMO.
Background stories about whose hand the commentator shook or who called him fat are not interesting. Just sayin.
