Texas/Arizona is pretty strong too. Midwest is a bit too spread out, but SSF4 had two IL players in the top 32, so the Midwest isn’t completely useless.
Japanese don’t play HDR. That and Afro Legends has been a beast for years.

If he had to tone it down, it just wouldn’t be the same. Plus all the inside jokes are better suited to local ranbats as opposed to a larger stage like Evo. But yes I do miss the old 3s ranbat commentary teams, lol.

Melty was kinda meh, but that’s because I don’t know the game I guess and because the characters look boring. No gameface camera going on during those finals didn’t help either.

Tekken announcers = most biased announcers for any event I’ve ever heard. I realize these guys aren’t professional commentators, but they should still have enough sense not to flat out pull for a particular fighter.
