mvc2 will NOT be console. the only way for mvc2 to go console is if we have no boards, which we will have plenty.
another reminder. evo north is still MWC, and that means its gonna be as arcade as possible. its as simple as that
Everyone needs to chill out and read the rules. It’s been plaining stated for months what’s on console and what’s on arcade, and it’s not going to change. At this point, anyone asking “is so and so on console” or “is there any chance that blah blah blah will be on arcade” needs to be ignored. EVO North = Midwest Championships and unless you just broke into the fighting game scene in the last week, chances are you know what the deal is…or you can find out by asking anybody who’s been around the block before.
Jason runs a tight ship and his tournaments are always fun. Even if your favorite game is NOT on the format that you like, I still encourage you to come. It will be a lot of fun, the hotel is cheap, the diner across the street is great, there’s a liquor store nearby, and the headcount this year will be HUGE due to it being an official EVO qualifying spot. Plus, Jason always throws in some curveballs, like his “random tournament” event. It’s just too good to pass up.
Now…
Stop questioning the rules of this event and either go, or don’t. I’m tired of reading 10 pages of whining about not being able to play on your grandpappy’s joystick.
So I suppose I’ll have to get a PS2 to PS3 controller adapter for my HRAP2.
Now i believe convertors should be available…right? Least thats what the evo site said.

I generally don’t care about which versions of game I wanna play (GG and maybe some SFIII for kicks… I’m scrubtastic at it!!!). I’m better on pad but I’m not too bad with arcade sticks. The only problem I have with them is that QCFx2 and QCBx2 are kinda difficult to perform with my left hand. So in that situation I cross my arms and switch positions or change how I hold the stick. Also I hate doing dragon punch motions too…
