the mystery will be solved soon!
does anyone remember the match where Showstopper throws his stick after he lost he was sooo salty
i already had that uploaded.funny thing i remember him almost beating Daigo at NCR he panicked and did something stupid so daigo beat him and he threw his stick again
^Yessssss. I was dying when that happened.
They were messing with him when he was in the crowd too. He seemed pretty salty after that and kinda sat by himself. He was asleep in a chair and his friend called over some people cosplaying as Mags, Doom, Phoenix and X23 to stand around him to take a picture. I was hoping he’d wake up to see how he’d react, but dude was knocked out.
haha that would’ve been hilarious if he woke up
How about when that little kid whooped that one dude’s ass in MVC3 on stage?
Noah aka “Don’t test my 8 year old reactions” was the truth, and didn’t CJ Truth eliminate Mike Ross?
Also does anyone have information on the apparent fight that happened?
This. We need more GIANT SALT SHAKER!!!

DIAGO LOST ):
In no particular order:
-DR Ray vs Mike Ross
-PR Rog’s Tron comeback
-Poongko vs Daigo
-“I AM LATIF” taking out 3 godlike players
-Noah in general
It’s possible to represent 2 countries. Former UFC champ Tito Ortiz waves a flag with the US flag on one side and the Mexican flag on the other.
Some brought up a good point results were the same as last year
- Japan
- US (yeah debatable I know)
- Korea
There is a twitter pic of Ricky & Kayo Police if you guys want to count that… I regret seeing that pic.
EVO moment DR Ray jumping into Siberian Blizzard.
Sent from Hueco Mundo using Garganta Talk.
Evo moment: Zhi refusing to translate when Fuudo talked about the lag being so bad on the streaming-setup monitors that the real reason he didn’t want to be sent to losers was to avoid the lag on the losers bracket setup, which was the worst.
Every final being a blowup except tekken was pretty cool.
Marvel’s level was pretty low compared to the other games (not as much top players for a popular game) but thats to be expected for a new game thats going to have a very short life.
All the really excellent ones were taken, but here’s a couple of good EVO moments I remember.
I don’t play MK9, but even I gotta think this is has so much hype. After being put on the brink of elimination by OnlineTony, 16 Bit rallies to win, with him getting mad hype at the end second game and performing fatalities for each win. This match really did establish the tempo for the rest of the MK9 finals and proved legitimacy for the game’s inclusion in EVO. Can’t wait for MK9 at EVO next year.
Mago vs. Justin Wong. Even though he didn’t get Top 8 in SF (again), it’s still a worthy performance. JWong starts quick by winning the first game and puts Mago at elimination with one round left, but Mago rallies by winning the tense 2nd match. And even though Mago starts the final game with the round 1 win, Justin Wong steps up and wins the final two rounds to put Mago in the losers’ bracket. Simply Marvelous.
The hypest moment at EVO was something that didn’t happen on stream. Poongko vs Billy Lee Dragon. Winners Semis bracket. Station 11. One game up & match point for Billy Lee Dragon…T-HAWK. Video coming soon…

Evo moments =D Life Lessons
excuse me my bad english
This was AWESOME.
Thank you SO MUCH for making this!!
from my understanding, fuudo said that he thinks the one on the main stage has more lag.
at first he said “the one(pointing at the losers setup) over there has more lag… BUT… i think maybe the one(pointin to the main stage) has more lag(than the losers setup)… because of the monitor + all the wires connected”
the non main stage setups, i dont think they are even streamed so less wires and stuff = less lag, no?
he did say he’s scared to drop to losers because he didnt wanna face tokido, and would rather fight daigo where he has had a lot of practice and more confident on beating(at least 5-5)
he’s not really making the lag as an excuse(any setup will have lag unless its on CRT), just sayin that the lag is there and sometimes can make it harder to deal with yuns divekicks.
i understand though it does get confusing because the original question asked was about whether he’s used to the Yun matchup, and then it got into the lag talk, but since its top 8, every match is gonna be played on the main stage, so the scared of playing on the losers bracket setup is kinda irrelevant, no?
Thanks to the players.
They taught us all that
