Hey, i already paid for two games, but i want to add another game. How i do that?
You can…but you’ld basically pay a 2nd registration fee on top of the registration fee you already paid.
Damn, not paying another 40 bucks on top of everything else. You sure?
Yeah it’s been that way since they’ve done online registration instead of at the door.
Just wondering, does it cost anything to just go and spectate? Like would I be able to just walk in to where ever this is being held in Caesar’s Palace without any tag or something (kinda like what you get at CES) and just chill out and watch?
Spectating is free…
isn’t that only if you’re competing?
Yes, it’s only if you’re competing.
Shouldn’t that last part be changed though…I can see how it can be misleading.
This might be stupid but…
If I just want to play casual games and not participate in and tournaments, do I still pay 30 bucks. I’m guessing that’s where the byoc section comes into play right? I just want to make sure since this is my first evo.
It says it right there in the first post, if you’re not competing in the tournies you don’t have to pay $30.
Is there a dress code? Like Bars here in Dallas don’t allow any bandanas on you, be it head, back pocket, neck, etc. I don’t know if a casino has a dress code. . .
I’d say “dress appropriately” if you don’t think it’s appropriate, don’t wear it.
both controllers and sticks are allowed right or just sticks i just dont know.
Both conrtoller and sticks are allowed…just don’t play it wireless (PS3).
Has to be wired.
We’re still debating the PS3 controller rule. Sticks will certainly be allowed, but you may be required to use an EVO controller (i.e. one we give you) if you use a pad. The reason is to prevent people from syncing their controllers to PS3’s and accidentally pausing or otherwise interfering with other games.
Honestly…I think it’s a better idea.
Barring no one tries to walk off with one post-match.
Then again…what if someone is used to the madcats fight pad?
Will the staff have to carry one a pair of those as well?
Way not to address the actual and valid reason many people don’t like the female tournament.
I don’t know where exactly to post this, but if it hasn’t been suggested already, then I’ll be the first to say it. I think that The Level-Up Series should do the stream because of the staff, coordination, and quality of their streams. Not to mention they retrieve people who know what they’re talking about on the games for the most part. Again, sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread but since I didn’t see it elsewhere, I figure this would be the best place to mention it.
