They might have to be afraid… for EVO2013. EVO2012 is way too soon, at the moment even the release date of the game is up in the air.

MK had over 500 at Evo 2011. Far more than Tekken and BlazBlue.
Yeah I really have a hard time understanding how anyone thinks BB has a chance of appearing if MK9 doesn’t appear, when MK9 has consistently been more popular and successful than BB throughout 2011. For BB to have a chance of making it to EVO2012 they have to be willing to put up 7 games. Which is not outside the realm of possibility but still…
My point is that MK was there at EVO as a main game before so was BB, now with the emergence of KoFXIII, I think it will have its shot to be a main game over the two I just mentioned due to it’s newness and ATLUS pushing for it to be one. Hell I would take KoFXIII over UMvC3 and SSFIV, however the number of their participants dont agree with my opinion. I’m not trying to bash MK or BB, I Like Mk alot and i dont get BB, but I think its time for KoFXIII to get a shot at a main game this go around. With all this being said, we’ll find out tonight when Mr. Wizard makes the announcement.
In that case yeah, I think KOF has a strong chance. It’s scene is growing and it is still being supported by Atlus. f it comes between that and MK, Im honestly going to have to go with KOF. But we will see tonight.
It’s pretty easy to understand. BB is getting a retail released update. MK9 is a year old.

Yeah, that retail release thing is a good part of why I figure it has a chance. And let me just say this, the Smash Bros situation is a Pandora’s Box best left locked, shut, bolted, and sealed away never to be touched again.
King of Fighters XIII and Skullgirls needs to be in. Nuff said.

The King has returned!
I’m pleased with the lineup…finally KoF has its chance to shine in the US.
Predictable lineup. MK9 and KOFXIII are the only games worth the hype.
MK, KOF, and SCV are going to be must watches for me. Sorry BlazBlue and Skullgirls, hopefully you guys get a good side tournament going.
