That’s why I’m glad I got a g1 phone. Never have to pay for the internet again.
I thought the rooms at the rio were ok but nothing special. Though for the price they weren’t bad. The rooms in the sheraton at philly’s nec were way better at the nec rate. Last time evo had a tournament at a hotel with really ballin rooms was 2k6 and 2k7 at the red rock and green valley. I felt like a king at red rock. U felt like u had a million dollars just walkin around the place.
I have the iphone, but using a laptop in a hotel room kills using any phone.
Uh Oh, last time I was in Club Pure I got thrown out for throwing up in VIP. They grabbed me and through me out back but my friend left with me. I was so fucked up, I didn’t remember much of that night for weeks.
First thing I did when I woke up was check to make sure my belt was fastened.:bgrin:
Wallet second.
I was hungover in the room all day, at least NCAA tourney was on.
Cable is a better character than he already is. You can’t block as soon as you super jump off the ground so he basically can randomly unblockable you with use AHVB. Least that’s what I heard. Some other minute things are still off but basically anything that’s slightly off in a game like Marvel is a complete disaster for veteran players.
latest patch fixed this. only problem now is certain timings are different, like pushblocking out of HSF, ability to link a sj d.lk to itself with mags (xvsf’s infinite), etc.
I think the fact that inkblot said “Dreamcast is dead.” almost guarantees (in my opinion) that there will be Marvel. Now, I have never been to an Evo tournament before, so I don’t know for sure, but what other games (if there were any) were there that pulled large crowds on Dreamcast? Wording it like that makes me feel like we will definitely see Marvel at Evo.
I noticed that someone got flamed earlier for suggesting that both renditions of SFIV, but thinking about it now, I honestly would not be surprised if SSFIV was (obviously) the main tournament and there was some sort of side tournament for the vanilla version. Sure, it sounds dumb, but at the same time there may be enough minor tweaks to the system and new matchups that it would scare off some of the casual gamers that are just still getting into SFIV (if there are any of them left).
Hope I don’t get flamed for this. Just a thought I had.
