Come on…TvC is fun but CvS2 is way better and has had a history on entrants…blah blah blah…

I agree that CvS2 > TvC, but TvC :UAS is coming out and deserves a chance at least.
If turnouts at FR are well and hype just like NEC, MB could stand a chance for Evo. I would love to see it, Evo hasn’t ruled out PS2 games yet.

Although CvS2 is a great game, the scene has been dead for some time now. Bringing it back because it had a great run in the past isn’t really the best reason.

Main Tourney:

Tekken 6 (No matter how much people try to criticize it, there’s no denying this game is really popular)
MvC2 (This is a crowd favorite, and really hard to pass up)
ST: HD (Second-most entrants at EVO2k9, right?)
Blazblue: CT (We have no official console release date for CS… even if it came out miraculously within a month of EVO starting I have doubts)
TvC (If Capcom needs a boost to increase the game’s popularity then giving incentives for it to be an EVO tourney would help. The game’s been rebalanced and localized, and it’s on a popular system that’s easy to convert for, or buy a cheap stick for.)
Perhaps:
SC4 (Maybe? I don’t know. But I wouldn’t judge it on its mechanics.)
ST (This would be pretty epic, but might be a waste of time if everyone just sticks with HD Remix)
Anything else I can’t comment on. 3s was already scratched by Wizard and CvS2, while being a tremendously fun game to watch, might have trouble making it onto the official roster.

This guys name is in red so what he says has more weight correct? I believe that is correct. This posts has changed my list a little and for good reason.
Dreamcast are not comming back this year, while MvC2 can and will get another patch before Evo if that is really the only way the scene will play the game on PS3, Does this mean PS2 are going to stay around another year to give a game a chance to shine? I think so.

Every time something is posted on the front page his name is always somewhere near it. He might not be a complete insider but he seems like he would know a little something and he is talking about TvC: UAS so listen.
My new list is weird because I really though I was right with my last list but I do not know now. I believe that the games that were more hype were SC4 and Melty Blood: AA. Only problem is Melty Blood is not next gen.... It makes my list change and I do not know which one is right anymore....

^These games are old and with the exception of Hd Remix, not many new people are coming into those games. There is really not a big need to have open pools in all of these games but I could see how Hd Remix would still want to have them. So I added it to the main games as number 6 but also added 3s to the side tourneys.
I am not really sure about the second list. It could be.
