This is what puzzles me. They apparently voted in Dave Wilson because of his (implied) ethnicity when the man who had been serving the role for years was of the actual background they thought they were voting for, anyway.
I canât help but feel if the races were reversed, people would be criticising how racist the situation is, having to pretend to be another race to get elected and perhaps praising the ingenuity of the man who schemed it.

But even within that integration, willing segregation will exist because people want to be withing their âownâ or close to something they âknowâ. Unless integration, along with forceful interaction, like many schools do and did here in the United States, this is the reality.
