If you’re going to do a hit confirm without a low short then just go straight for cl. HP into MK axe kick. Get that max damage if it connects since it’s a safe hit confirm. You just won’t have frame advantage on block. Or do cl. MP into MK axe kick because that’s a true block string so you can’t be mashed out inbetween the special cancel.
I dunno who was teaching you how to kara demon, but I don’t use KKK at all to do it. I press f+mk+lp, f+mk+lp, df+lk+hp. The only tricky part is that you have to move from forward to down forward in between those last two inputs. If you hit down forward before the second mk+lp, it won’t work. If you hit it after the lk+hp, it won’t work either. Need to switch in between those two inputs while mashing the buttons three times.
I learned that particular kara-cancel from a YouTube video back in 2012, but it sounds like there’s been a lot of streamlining from the E.Ryu community in the interim to make it a lot smarter and easier to execute. I’ll give it a whirl. Thanks!
I was reading Justin’s tier list on eventhubs and he says E Ryu is a good secondary for Oni so the reverse should be true, right? If so, I’m gonna have to make the hard decision of Oni or Makoto :x

How do u beat a decent chun li my friend uses her n is very good at keepaway if I jump in from any distance he will hit me with one of her normals like s.hp or sweep which beat me every time if I walk forwards I lose to her pokes s.mp n s.hp n fireballs are useless against ultra 1 need big help in this match up

Her cr HK and st MP beats cr MK,so dont throw cr MK recklessly.
For her cr HK,u can focus and crumple her if its a LvL2,or try st MK,when cr HK whiffs.
cr MP is good too if u know that she is gonna throw it and u may hit it as counterhit so if u have good reactions u can connect cr MKxx(combo afterwards) or cr HK for untechable KnockDown.
If u focus and she hits with st MP i dont know what whould happen if she follow ups with hazanshou as she tryies to break your focus and u leave charge as u see it coming,perhaps could stop her.I havent test it so i cant say for sure(i consider that she is out of charge)
The standar is to stay outside of those 2 pokes range,also if u focus too much and u get predictable she can break your focus with her command normal back+MK,which leads to her BnB combo(she can punish a blocked sweep with this way too).
If she neutral jump,she is very possible to follow up with HK which is a good poke too.There u can answer with st HK,or if u are close with a shoryuken.U can focus dash on her active too,if for some reason u have started charging focus.
If she gets impatient and jumps over u,just AA.I know that its kind of confusing when u think that she is jumping cause u see her airborne but she is using hazan shu instead(it still stops her though)
When u jump on her,she may use focus backdash as way to reset the situation and dont give u any chance to press buttons on her.U cant stop her pseudo AA focus with srk as many other chars unfortunately.I dont know if u can hit her with something else on her backdash though.Havent checked yet(something as cr MK/cr HK,or u2).
When u block a focus attack lvl 1,and she dashes forward i think that she is +,but i dont remember how much cause i dont have that file in front of me atm.
On your wake up she may use her command normal downforward+HK which crosses up and she can avoid regural timing shoryukens.Just stop that bullcrap with a manual auto correct(as i like to say it!) shoryuken[check below]

Hazanshu:
It goes through projectiles,so becarefull when u throw fireballs inside that range with her have super available cause she can follow up with it for more damage.
U can focus attack and crumple her if it a LvL 2,if she has meter,she may fadc backwards to make u whiff focus attack and punish u.In that case u can focus dash forward and chase her.Since ev ryu has a good dash,u can use cl MP(start up 3 frames) or cr LP(3 frames),cl HP link to open her up with a combo.Focus Dash forward its like the go to,when u want to react to it(Of course if she doesnt have meter,u go for the crumple )
She may use it after st MP poke too,if she wants to make u feel some pressure(kind of mixing u up u know^^)
She may also use it if u are going to throw her on wake up(she is considered airborne),or if u are going to throw tech late(since u think that she is gonna wake up with reversal bird kick ex) or do a late throw(for the same reason)
bird kick EX:if u jump on her and she is has charges enough frames to have her reversal available,if dive kick kind of late,u may hit her or hitting u with less hits as u would normally be hit with.
U have safe jumps after forward THrow[whiff st MP,jump forward,dive kick early),or after the sweep[walk forward a bit HK/HP.u can land cr HK,with the char specific combo[Axe Kick(MK)cr LK,st LP(chained on the 1st available frame) cr HK)]
Super Ultra:
Ultra1: Even when u are full screen watch out when u have decided to throw a hado,cause u may eat an ultra(and it hurts!).she can punish your sweep with ultra 1(start up 7 frames)
Super:She can do the same kind of the same(a bit closer than fullscreen) when u throw a fireball,with her super,and can punish your sweep with super too(start up 2 frames),a regular blocked hadoken from close too…
