noob question here, please help…

what is the different between a myoungshin and a taeyoung? why do both have fanta name attached? ive looked but found no answer any help to clear this…

thank you

I believe the difference is the rubber grommet inside stick…the taeyong being more stiff

thank you el greco, now on my quest for starion micro switches!!!

To add to that TZ post. The myoungshin fanta is no longer being used in South Korea, they are using Crown CWJ-303N’s. Specifically THIS one

Just to add a little something to that TZ post, since they were using that stick at the time it was posted. Anyway, South Korea is using the Crown CWJ-303Ns now. Specifically this one

Fucking srk… I post nothing shows up for 5 minutes i post again and it quadruple posts…

To add to the discussion: kowal (http://www.kowal.itcom.pl/ArcadeParts_pliki/joyMSFN.htm) prefers to replace the switches with Omron V-series (or MS-O-2), UNLESS they are already Gersung.

Having had a K-stick die on me quite quickly, I agree somewhat.

anybody else watched TTT2 finals from FRXVI?

i believe JDCR was using an omni Korean stick

Knee was def. using a crown, but anybody know what stick it was using?

i would like to know this too, from a glimpse it looked like an omni, but white.

It’s called the “Magic Stick” in English. http://cafe.naver.com/360stick

If white, it’s definitely a Crown. Whether it has the plastic base or not determines its type.

thanx for the link i can’t navigate that site to check out more details such as where to buy it, or at least more pics (even using chrome’s translator)

Black version

Wow, that stick actually looks pretty cool! I thought that Knee was using some older model white Saulabi, but I guess not. I love what they did with the Start/Select/Guide buttons, but especially on the Xbox 360 version of that stick, it looks like may have just mounted a controller into the stick! :))

Ah ha! I remember this stick , I saw this on youtube, some girl was reviewing it. she had good nails.

but anyways, this stick had padhacks inside lol.

I saw some videos on YouTube from a guy testing a version of the stick. That particular model was referred to as the Magiclab M3 Joystick.

EDIT: Hmm, found the shop.

Omni back in stock for anyone who is interested.
