The old omnis used to come in a vewlix layout, which I also preferred. Would have picked one up if it still did.

Truth. Though you can, if you want to, use Crown screw-in buttons in a 30mm hole as the nut that goes with those buttons really grips surfaces well.
It seems like the Omni’s are back in stock!

yep…mine already shipped…lol
Slay, I hate you! LOL I can’t afford one right now.
Recently ordered the Xtokki 360 converter it came much quicker than I thought it would have and works perfectly. Shoutouts to you sir!

You can easily fit the crown buttons info any existing 30mm hole by using a rubber o ring approximately 1.8x25mm in size. For reference, the etokki o rings are 3x25mm. So you want to find one that is slightly more than half the thickness of the etokki rubber. Using said rubber, the crowns will fit perfectly snug into the 30mm hole. Google for a local o ring dealer near you to find some. That’s how I got mine. Failing that, you can get some on ebay for cheap.
Ok here is a picture of my updated Korean SE mod illustrate what I am talking about. I sold the custom panel and went with the standard panel after getting the Japanese Crown Fanta. I had to use different rubber to fit the buttons in the vewlix. But it fits perfectly snug.

Which do I prefer? I definitely prefer the Korean Fanta due to the stiffer feel of the microswitches. Sure I could swap them, but then I’d have to keep a spare Fanta stick around. I am also still not sure about using Crowns in a vewlix layout. I am still adjusting. But this was the primary reason I sold my vewlix Omni.
I’m liking the stiffness to the fanta joystick in the Omnis, but somehow I think it is a bit over-stiff doing certain moves, is the new crown battop joysticks looser?
Thanks for the suggestion. So just to verify, these should work?
Those will work. But judging from the look, it is a tad thinner looking than mine. I think what I have might be 1.9mm thick. Either way, it will work.
It just depends on the batch of rubber that the part was in. Some are more loose than others.
Let’s see some pics of this new batch people!
And does anybody know how many we’re made in each batch?
this. It’s almost like a grab-bag sometimes. Which I enjoy, somehow. I have two cwj’s (not the new j-style ones) and one is distinctly looser than the other.
I really want the omni stick but I’m a little worried about the PCB. Do you guys know if it will die on me after a couple of months? Like is there some type of warranty?
The paewong pcbs are very good. They are just not as user/modder friendly as say a ps360+.
Oh I didn’t even know it was a paewang, good to know!

Which type of button will the rubber o ring have fit into the 30mm hole, the snap on 203A or the screw in 203C? I couldn’t get it from the context and I wanted to make sure; the buttons’ size is slightly different.
