eTokki.com - The Shop for the Players by the Players

Of course that would happen right now. Any chance the stock will be slightly less temporary this time?

Doubtful they usually go out within a week.

The Myoungshin Fanta now comes with Gersung microswitches as well. I asked laugh about the switches and he told me they all have Gesung switches now.

For anyone wondering the Gersung switches are every bit as good as omron IMHO. The actuator in my stick wore out before any of the switches.

Gersung, Omron, Matsushita, they’re all relatively the same switch. Gersung and Matsushita have lower quality cosmetic standards as far as cases are concerned, but the internals are every bit as good, and even nearly identical! You can even mix and match the internals if you wish, which I have done with a mod I’ll be posting up. I’ve compared Gersung to Matsushita to Omron. I’ve had Omrons made in both Japan and Indonesia and there is no difference. The main difference between the three is that Gersung uses gold plated internals, where as Omron and Matsushita do not. The Gersungs used in the Crown sticks are very high tension though, especially compared to what we’re used to in J sticks.

I just recieved my first ls 32 today so this is my first experience with the Matsushita. I looks promising and I like the feel better than the JLF. The Myoungshin Fanta is still my favorite stick but the ls 32 is a Japanese that I can relate to.

The Gersungs switches in my Crown 303 are different that the switches in my Myoungshin, but they are both Gersung and pretty stiff. I have not had the crown switches apart but I have had the switches from the Myoungshin apart and did notice the gold plating. The internals are pretty thick thus contributing to the higher tension along with different size magnets.

I just threw that comment out about the Gersung switches because a lot of people speak as if the Gersung switches are inferior to Omrons. I have seen posts about people wanting to change the Gersungs to a “silent switch” and the lighter switches make the stick lazy (I tried it for science).

lol the magic stick ^^
how to get one, the korean site don´t seems like there shipping outisde of korea
anyone link to a another shop ?

I´m from Honduras, Central America a few days ago i received my package it took 2 weeks everything came in perfect condition, definitely recommend etokki for anyone in the area.

I met Laugh in person at EVO, really cool dude. I’ve bought from him in the past, great service and he even agreed to do a special request. Highly recommended.

Yup, my mind is made up. Omni (lol that’s a close pronouciation of how you would say ‘mother’ in Korean). Cant wait to get my 'mother stick!

Got a quick question here on ordering. I’m looking to pick up a couple of XTokki360 converters. On the eTokki site it lists availability as 7-15 days. I tried to add them to my cart and check out (I was assuming that would just put me on the list and they would ship when they came in) however it looks like since they are out of stock currently it won’t even let me put my order in. Is there a notification system of any type? Or do I just keep checking the site every so often for these to come back in stock?

It seems crown buttons are not as good as sanwa, i ´ve been playing for 3 days on a recently build arcade stick with korean parts, and some of the microswitches seems to respond a little bit late, i hardly can do ex moves, and by the way two of the microswitches were faulty, one always seems to be in close state all the time and the other one when pressed sometimes keeps in close state and then a few seconds comes back to open, does anyone else has experience this or is just my bad luck.

As a switch, buttons respond the moment you complete the circuit. Crowns take more force to actuate over Sanwa, but then again Sanwas are the most sensitive.
There no such thing as a late response to a button, just players who blame their sticks rather than learning how to play and practice more.

BUUUH. Two runs in a row, the day I go to order an Omni they’re sold out! seeyouinfourmonths.png

Do you guys know when the Omni will be back in stock? They’ve been out for a while.

Considering its a small company that build have 1 or 2 people building theses by hand.

I’m sure they’ll have a run ready for the winter holiday season.

Yeah that’s true. I was juggling between the omni and eightarc fusion but both sites are out of stock so now just play the waiting game.

Yeah that would be nice but by that time the focus for me would be the newer consoles.

Because of all the fighting games coming out for them?

I don’t know of any fighting games worth playing on the new consoles at launch. Maybe they’ll have SF4Ultra for ps4/xbox1 but I’d hate to have to buy it again lol.

I see the black myungshin available in 7-15 days, is this gonna end up like the taeyoung (no longer available) ?
