ahh thankyou very much black_7 and Jamin3131 for the reply…
questions: are crown buttons the same size as sanwa buttons? can i put crown buttons on a TE without modding it?
No. The crowns are 28mm, similar to American buttons. You could use the rubber washers to hold them in place, but you’re better off getting a new plexi.
where can i get said rubber washers? i only want to use korean products on a korean stick build. thanks in advance
etokki sells the rubber washers/gromets for the buttons, but you will NOT fit the existing Korean sticks in to a TE or any other case with an existing JLF without heavy modification to the stick or control panel.
You’re in luck however, as they are currently developing new K-sticks to fit in TE’s and other JLF based sticks
Speaking of the newer Mad Catz Crowns, hopefully laugh can answer…
The Crown CWJs have a square on the bottom of the stick but is restricted by the collar which gives it a round feeling. Will the removal of the collar give it a square gate feeling?
I ask since the LS-32 is my favorite stick (i ride the gate for certain chars and for diagonals) but i love the neutrals and motions of the Myoungshin/Crown Fantas. A perfect stick for me would be a hybrid, LS-32 with Fanta rubber restriction grommet.
Thanks man. Thats all the info i needed
I know about K sticks not fitting on a TE. Im planning on using a foehammer case on my k stick build and i think they only drill 30mm for the button holes.
LOL, thats EXACTLY what I plan on doing with the new crown cwj fantas. Believe it or not, If you use the Sanwa Shaft mod method, you’ll get the square gate feel. HOWEVER, you wont be able to feel the gate as good as the ls-32, but its definitely there. When hitting df, db, ub, uf. You’ll hit the corner every time.
What is this sanwa shaft mod method?
Im gonna need a JLF extended shaft…
to tell you the truth you might not need it. A regular jlf shaft should do for the new crown cwj fantas. The reason i used the jlf extender was because of the 35mm neck hogging so much of the shaft and having it sit extremely low. With the new ones having that 35mm neck ring thing removed, might not need the extender anymore as well. But can’t be sure until they’re released to test out myself.
you can put a jlf shaft in a myungshin (then thinnest of all k-sticks). It’s really short tho, so a shaft extender is almost required. I’m guessing a jlf shaft fits in the others; I haven’t tried tho.
And it’s a pretty tight fit so the joystick and everything feels considerably stiffer once everything’s together. Not a bad feel, tho. I played with one like that for quite a while.
When are you gonna have the PS2 to 360 converters in stock again? I’m really looking forward to buying one. :3
I have an etokki omni v2 and it just started acting all crazy. The stick thinks square and triangle are being held down constantly and the buttons are doing strange actions.
Definitely sounds like a defective PCB, or maybe just a wiring issue where some frayed wires are making contact with ground.
My friend also has one that died even worse, it just doesn’t get recognized at all by a ps3, 360, or pc.
So how does it get fixed?
I got almost $250 in this thing that lasted less than a year.
Any ETA on the next batch of Korean Omni V3’s?
I remember laugh mentioning that you can cut the rubber grommets in Myoungshin fantas to make it looser. Anybody know where exactly you have to cut or has done this before?

Says it’ll fit into a TE just fine, but how about SE’s? sounds like a fun thing to have
