It definitely fits in a se…got one in my brawl stick
woohoo! awesome, just the one I was thinking of getting to mod.
is there a way to put a balltop on a crown stick? I don’t see any models with balltops…
yarg, but where can I buy replacement balltops for them?
Is the size the same as a jlf or seimitsu?
LAUGH! I love you man, thanks for making these readily available!
Empytyean it will fit just fine in the SE as well.
As for the ball top options. There aren’t really any right now. The shaft and battop are ONE piece. So if you wanted to do a ball top it would actually have to be a mod you do to the lever OR you could have one machined.
Aw shoot, well thanks for answering my questions guys. I guess I wont be getting one anytime soon
Have you replaced the buttons?

That shaft ^^…

Will fit in that stick ^^…I’m gonna assume it will fit in the new “japanese bracket” types. And you’d have to buy two joysticks (sorry) but afaik it’s possible. This is surprisingly uncommon info. Beware the shaft is a tad longer and had a rep for scraping slightly against the inside of Saulabis. Also JLF shafts DO fit inside of myungshin fantas ( http://etokki.com/Arcade-Joysticks/Myoungshin-Fanta-stick-Green ). I can’t test now but maybe they work in crowns, too.
I’ll do it and take pictures and write up a small review. I’m sceptical though just because the housing of a 306 is a good deal deeper than the 303.
I thought cutwest said the old shafts fit in the new housings
and they do. ROFL. They are just a tad bit longer yes, But it does NOT effect performance whatsoever.
And yes, JLF shafts work too in both the old and new crown sticks but they require a little bit of mod work involving electrical tap to make them fit snug and not so loose. Did you guys not see the pictures I provided?
Anybody?
Heads up guys. I am selling this Korean SE stick at the trading forum: WTS: Korean Saulabi mutli console modded SE
I dunno about you but the difference in the 1.5mm Korean mounting and flush mounting of a fanta messes with my game play some.
I can feel you on this. On my Saulabi, it’s flush. On cabinets, it sits higher. I’ve thought of grinding out some of the base around the stick hole to let my fanta’s base jut out of the Saulabi more.

Can you swap the mounting plate with the new Crown Japanese ones to get a Taeyoung in a standard Japanese stick though?
I have question regarding the etokki 360 to ps2 converter. It’s been awhile since i bought mine, but i barely started using it. I noticed that the r2/l2 when i press them they usually don’t register. At first i thought it was my controller so i went out and bought another one, but i was still getting the same issue. Anyone else run into the same issue with their converter?
No. What PS1/2 controller are you using and what game(s) are you playing?
I have an official sony that came with my ps2. Dmc4,Umvc3,and king of fighters 13. For dmc 4 i have my gun change and devil trigger in my r2/l2. When ever im trying to change my guns i have to press it 2 or three time just to get it to work. In umvc3 when i was trying it, im a vergil player and set l to the r2 in order to charge my Rt. In the inputs it won’t register and it actually shows in the button display as if i have turbo set, as it shows L being press rapidly.
Nope, the center hole is too small, and even if you enlarge it the screwholes won’t align with the ones on the Taeyoung.
