No, I didn’t think I had that much time to. I was worried about it not connecting at all.
Lemme know if it’s possible to get higher damage than this. Afaik this is as optimized as possible
Without assists that is

Good shit man. Hey ive been working all day on the Charge Partitioning combo and I ALMOST got it a few times, I think it may be possible.
I have discovered a shuma unblockable. I will reveal the details when my capture card comes in and post a video. It is not easy and requires crazy reactions as well as x factor.

ummm wat? im kinda interested right now. IM WORKING ON THIS CHARGE PARTITION COMBO BECAUSE IM SO CLOSE. THIS WILL BE SHUMA’S NEW BNB I PROMISE YOU haha. Fuck yea Shuma can now convert into the TOD from the start of the round. I cant dash fast enough to get it to work Full screen though… Ill keep trying.
It’s based off a guard crush. I’ll post it as soon as I can. Gotta get on a plane soon for the holidays. Also I have some new shuma ideas for his anchor potential. I look forward to your new bnb, I will definitely learn it if it’s sweet!
Btw me vs marlinpie has a few good shuma moments but nothing fancy in your guys eyes I’m sure lol

New anchor potential AND an unblockable? ill be here silently waiting.
I really want to be the killjoy by saying anchor shuma sucks, but I think you guys already knew that :D. Looking forward to both your guys’ stuff
Damn you Rok let me have faith in Shuma for once
Foolish mortal, Shuma anchor does not suck at all, in fact he has got me out of many jams in my vanilla days, plus having that mystic ray assist is always a fantastic bonus, heck Shuma is way, WAY more of a well round character then lets say, sentinal, who most people seem to love putting on anchor despite what I consider a pretty over rated assist.
no
Yes
No really Rok is right he’s not that great but the assist is crucial to Ghost Riders game so I do my best to make him work.
I seriously disagree, only in theory have I heard this nonsense about Shuma being bad at anchor, I really don’t see what’s bad about it, I seem to handle myself fine. It is true that Shuma can get out zoned, but really, you just have to slowly stalk them and Shuma has more options to catch the opponent then say Hulk. I honestly have someone yet to prove me wrong, and in actual practice, not just theory, cause I swear, show me matches that show anchor Shuma failing or doing what people say, I just don’t get it.
Don’t get me wrong he is my anchor of choice and I have came back many times with him but the thing that holds him back is his midscreen combos even in Xfactor they don’t kill very fast and can switch sides and do a number of wonky things. He does get zoned out rather easily and against any competent player they will just run away from you. Im not saying he is the worst by any means cause he actually CAN be tricky and effective but it’s still a difficult match for him if he has to come back against a whole team of 3.
So shuma is a good anchor because he has more options than hulk
Now I remember why I stopped coming to the shuma boards.
Well its not like your explaining yourself very well mister I know everything.
Let’s keep egos in check guys, last thing shuma needs is inner fighting on the boards. I think this is a great discussion and I would be interested in hearing both sides.

Well in my opinion Shuma is a all rounded character who can fight in most, if not all situations, and in any team slot, I think this because having the ability to air dash both forward and backward, tiger knee mystic smash, low angled and high angled air H attacks, a seven hitting sH, a really good sweep in the form of cM, and a cH that not only acts as an anti air, but can also be jump canceled.
For me, this makes hit confirming with Shuma to be one of things he is best at, and why I think he can work for anchor is that despite his damage output in a majority of his combos, and how his attacks can sometimes be wonky depending on the opponent, the mix up game from this can be very unpredictable for the opponent to figure out if the Shuma player can keep on thier toes about it.
His wide range of different attacks can adapt to all situations, thus making me think that anchor Shuma is not as bad as people make it out to be, I just think he is a character who can work in all slots on a team because he is so well rounded in my opinion.
As someone who plays Shuma, and ANCHOR shuma at that, I can tell you that anchor shuma is awful.
…how does this make him well-rounded at all? On it’s own, nearly NONE of it is safe. Have fun being zoned out in X-factor. This doesn’t make him well-rounded at all since, even in exfactor, his zoning options are sub-par. In xfactor, he can still be thrown out of all of that and he has little to no options from a full screen distance.
Refer to point 1. Have fun getting in to do any of that.
