Anchor Shuma is bad. Assist tier.
damn i really want to play a team with shuma and modok but looks like they both compete for the point spot… man are tehre no anchors in this freaking game that i like?! wtf.

I know it works on wesker/zero/hulk who I usually try it against. Its mainly gonna be a shuma anchor vid, combos and how to convert from superjump height into death

It has so much Startup that you should be realistically, bopping every assist call.

-after air mystic smash H, i do M cr M cr H, mystic stare M. I can get the eyes to hit pretty consistently, but sometimes they flip out before the S hits. Do I have to do the eyes faster?
-does the power of the mystic stares matter? can I use L or H mystic stare? I was just using M cuz it was what I was most comfortable with at the time

question 2: I use mystic stare L. It causes the most hitstun afaik

You can’t be serious lol. As if mystic ray gives you 3 hours to mix someone up when it puts someone in blockstun.
so in all these combos, i can SHOULD be using mystic stare L?
I cant even get Mystic Stare M to work much less Mystic stare L. That combo is unreliable and you can do the normal c.M, c.H, S, M, H Mystic Smash combo from max distance and more efficiently IMO.
Question 1: You’re really straining the hitstun by not only doing j.M after the very first S, but (presumably) doing a full 2 hits from both s.M and cr.M. You’re probably losing a chunk of hitstun at the very start with the j.M H 8H if you’re trying to let them fall before the S… I’d recommend s.MM (both one hit) H 8H on the jump, j.8H instead of j.M on the superjump, and one hit of both Ms after landing. I find that much more reliable.
Question 2: Yes, the stare of choice does matter. Their hitstun is the same, but the timing post-stare differs due to each stare recovering 5 frames slower than the strength before it. M consistantly gives you the best timing for the enemy going low to hit with S as fast as possible for the S j.HS followup, but L gives the biggest leeway for landing something other than S, dashing if you were rather far away, and/or enemies landing on more eyes due to the slower travel speed.
Question 3: Like Rokmode said, you need to delay the H as late as possible. Do remember that the ray afterwards will have larger characters such as Dormammu to flip out mid-ray, so try going for a different ender on them.
Yeah its freaking hard for sure. But i dont know what you mean by “normal” combo. Can you provide the notation or link? I feel like the ones on the 1st page aren’t optimal and are outdated…

Am I even doing somethign that is considered optimal or bnbish here? I mean this looks like what a lot of you guys are doing in these videos i see, and the M cr M cr H mystic stare is the one i’m most comforatble with, so i’m assuming this works. if there is something simpler or better than I should be doing, please suggest lol.
Same combo just omit the first c.L, c.M, c, H, j,M, j.H, j. UP H. and I suggest doing Mystic Stare L.

You sure can. TK Mystic Smash L is a quick overhead and up close is deadly and TK Mystic Smash M can be useful for approaching.
Proof of concept for comboing off of Chaos Dimension. I don’t think you need the x-factor, you can just do an assist + Ray but you need to be quick.
